The Co-op has an advantage in that it's located in the centre of the town and close to the more populated areas. Although there isn't much on street parking there is a free car park just up the road. They stock a decent range of food, drink, household goods and newspapers. There's also a cash machine next to the front door. It's a real community shop as everyone seems to know everyone else (expect me as I don't live in the Junction) and it always has a very friendly vibe. No matter what time of day or night you go there, there always seem to be customers so you'd think they must do very well.

Do not do the majority of your grocery shopping here--save that for Morrison's. M&S is kinda expensive, plastic bags are 5p or 9p (but you should be using a tote anyway!), and they don't have much. But it's good for ready-made meals or lunch. They have lots of take-away salads, sushi, fruit, and sandwiches (which, by the way, are still cheaper than the ones on campus!), and it all tastes pretty good. Except for the sushi. The sushi is gross. And then, after 1 or 2 pm, they reduce the lunch food price by half. Everything is still perfectly fresh, it's just the lunch rush is over. Also, they have a decent wine selection (but save that for dinner...). If you DON'T live in upper Bangor, M&S is a godsend when you're tired and have no energy to climb Bitch Hill to Morrison's. Unlike some other places in lower Bangor, it is clean and not creepy. But the best thing about M&S over the other supermarkets is that the staff are ridiculously friendly. They're super thankful when you check out, and basically, just nice to chat with. It's the little things I guess.

However, many people swear by it so who am I to judge? The eco-bags are a great idea; although the inconvenient truth that you may not want to hear is that hardly anyone uses them. Boo!

I couldn't find it instore, so asked an assistant, Margaret, who went outside, checked the billboard, spoke to the Manager, came to find me, and told me that the offer had ended last week, but I was perfectly entitled to buy Dove at half price as stated! She was extremely helpful, as are all the staff at the Denbigh branch. I love shopping at the store, it is always a pleasure, and thank you Morrisons for your very fair treatment of your customers, no wonder we are loyal, I wouldn't shop anywhere else. According to the locals, this is a bigger store than the regular ones. If I get a chance to visit a regular store, I'll confirm, lol. This one does have 2 levels, and you can take the lift (elevator) or the escaltors escalators. The escalator going down wasn't working the times I've been, but just walk down anyway. They have cashiers for check out as well as self check-out lanes. Prices here are awesome! I'm a huge fan of their bakery bread and the snacks. Their sparkling water game is pretty strong, too. Don't be shocked if I check in here again, lol!

The Liverpool One branch of Superstore is not actually the most super I have come across in Liverpool as there is one in Litherland which is gargantuan in comparison. However, Liverpool One Tesco is certainly what the town needs. You still have plenty of choice here, a variety of sections such as deli, clothes and international foods to keep you adding more to your basket! I find this place more of a relaxing and enjoyable shopping experience as opposed to the Metro version by the big screen, because its more spacious and offers an abundance of products. The location isn't great if you're driving there as it'll cost you pounds to park somewhere nearby but certainly convenient when you have other chores to do around town.

They really should offer a street map if they are going to close a main entrance to the public. The selection in most areas was okay, especially the fish and meat counters where the selection was extensive. I did find the toiletries selection to be rather poor, they seemed to have replaced a whole section with overpriced giftsets, meaning toiletries and skincare items you'd find in pretty much any other supermarket weren't stocked here, which was a real shame. I get gift-sets are good Christmas ideas, but why should that mean the items which would usually be sold outside of these overpriced gift-sets not be sold at all? I did find the staff member a little unhelpful, he was standing right next to me (and seemed to be avoiding me) as I struggled to type my Clubcard number into the scan and go machine as it kept freezing. 3* - Large supermarket in the town centre of Chester, although it can be a nightmare to get in and there are multiple other flaws with the store which means it wouldn't be my first choice supermarket to visit if I return to Chester.

The cafe has been relocated to the new upper floor but is woefully short of toilets, a whole two and they're both intended for the diasbled however a wheelchair user would need to run the gauntlet of the tray carrying cafe customers and the closely placed tables in order to use them. To say the layout wasn't very well thought out is a bit of an understatement. Unfortunately the store also has a thriving home delivery service which has expanded into the carpark. Shoppers use the free parking spaces at Tesco to visit the newly built Eagles Meadow Shopping Mall which is opposite the store making parking in what was already a small carpark almost impossible on a saturday. At peak times you'll be queuing to get in and queing to get out.

Bought milk, mineral water, wheat beer, coffee (no, not instant ;-)), and more. It made a huge difference to my shopping in Machynlleth moneywise. I also got fresh fruit here! After a short wait a parking space became available and in I went. To be fair they have pretty much anything you can get in a larger store and I managed to get everything I needed. After another queue at the tills, not enough but no space for more, I made my way out of the car park which had if anything got even busier.

There is a large car park and I have never struggled to park here. The shop is often busy and it can be difficult to get around amongst all the other shoppers. There are not very many check outs which results in some long queues. The staff at the tills are generally quite friendly and there are usually quite a lot of staff on the shop floor, though they are more likely to be talking to friends than helping customers. The prices are quite low compared with other local supermarkets, but this is reflected in the quality of the goods. There are a lot of non food goods, and recently a George clothing department has been opened.
