Clothes and household goods at the front, electrical goods at the back of the first main isle. Although with the new Homestyle Tesco openning in Nottingham this may be subject to change. The rest of the store is dedicated to food shopping. Tesco stocks a huge range of food produce and, at this store at least, also stocks a range of ethic Asian goods. Tesco is currently increasing their Own Brand label goods and in my opinion they are just as good as traditional branded goods, but at a fraction of their cost. The Tesco Cafe is another place worth a visit. The breakfast menu is extensive and very tastey. A visit there on a Saturday morning for a full English breakfast helps set you up for the day.

I particulary like it that they have 6 items on a 49p promotion each week. When it's things like mango, pineapple or grapes you can save loads! I also like there shower gel which is a bargain price of 49p as well. It beats everything other own brand that I've seen for price and the smells are good too! Other things I buy are fresh coffee and coleslaw both good. At Christmas the speciality boxes of chocolate truffles are yummy and better than Thorntons!

The prices are cheap and the goods non-branded. It can be a bit hit and miss sometimes with what you purchase so I only use it as a top up to my main shop when I'm passing by the area. Prices are kept low by having as few staff as possible, non fancy advertising and packing your own items away from the tills.

It is close to ikea, next, decathlon and the others situated on giltbrook retail park. Sainsburys is cheap and sell good quality food, clothing, home wear and electricals.

The store also has its own restaurant, which is ideal for a quick cup of tea after a hectic day. The selection is wide and the food is of a good quality. My family particularly enjoys the freshly cooked bread, which you can ask to have sliced, and the salad bar where you can fill up a container with whatever you would like. Morrison's always proves to be packed whatever time of day you go, but most of the check outs tend to be open so it's not too bad.
