I had an incident 5 years ago at sainsburys dewsbury store,during that time i was taking genuine…read morecoupons printed from online and by the security i was stopped and told i cant bring coupons in store and they are now going to ban me from the store.there were 2 securities at that one was asian and one a white security. i told at that time why ban me and its up to the store wether they want to accept the coupons as im not forcing anyone to accept the coupons i will let the staff decide if they accept and the white security said thats fine i wont ban you after listening to me at that time i also made a complain to the store in writing and also by calling the customer services and the matter was resolved. during this 5 years i continued to shop at sainsburys dewsbury and had no problems at all. today in morning at 9am i went to dewsbury sainsburys and did my shopping and was sat outside on the bench ready to go home and 2 asian security came up to me one was new with beard and the other was the same one when the incident happened 5 years ago and both told me im not welcome on there premises as years ago i was banned from sainsburys dewsbury i explained and did not listen to me at all. i told i want a word with the store manager was told to wait outside but the manager did not came to see me at all as i know im not welcome in that store. later i phoned customer service and was told if the store dont want me in the store then they cant do anything at all it was a disgrace. i called the store manager at dewsbury and explained he didnt sound really ineterested but still explained what happened 5 years ago,the store manager said 5 years ago there was a diffrent manager and the white security man does not work anymore at the store,and that im banned i told him to check his data in store im sure there should be some evidence regarding this incident he did say he will check. later that day i called again and the store manager did say im right and the incident was dealt at that time and im not banned and i never was banned from sainsburys in dewsbury. the store in dewsbury is a disgrace this is the second time they did this to me. the only reason why it happened was im a indian person of origin and both security were pakistani origin im not playing the racist card here but ive seen the attitude the way they approached me. ITS SHAME ON SAINSBURYS DEWSBURY AND THEIR DISGRACE STAFF.

Very very good, but then every supermarket has its specialities. What I also go to Morrisons for are the low prices, and although not across the board, I would say on average it is the most economical supermarket if you are willing to fill half your trolley with items from their value range. (As most people are, of late!) Also they have a good stock of cardboard boxes readily available, often very handy to have around and helpful for transporting your groceries!

I was brought up in a Morrison's family, and a Morrison's man i shall remain! The only reason that it doesn't have 5 stars is as mentioned above, it looks like it was erected in the 1970's and really could do with the bit of a spruce up. The deli counter is excellent and I'm now even on first name terms with some of the staff there. What more could you want... oh yeah, I already went through that didnt I?
