It's probably not massively insightful to review one of the most wide-ranging chain stores in the country, but this pocket-sized version of Tesco is, in my experience, better than any of the monstrously-sized Tesco superstores you find on most corners nowadays.
Always well stocked, cool and clean, this mini-mart is perfect for most of the stuff you need when you can't be bothered nipping to the bigger supermarket. It's basically a scaled down version of daddy Tesco which retains all the best bits and always has something on offer.
The staff are all young studenty-types, so they're all fairly friendly and very good in terms of checkout speed. However long the queue here, you'll never be waiting more than a minute or two to get served. As a general rule, I hate Tesco's. But I love this one. read more
