My daughter has been receiving OT for 9 months here and I'm very pleased. Her therapist Brittany is so very nice and patient. My daughter really likes her which is awesome. The place is always clean and everyone working there has always been very nice. I highly recommend TES Therapy.

Most importantly, she illuminated my need for core stability - a physically rooted foundation - that somehow I wasn't 100% conscious of throughout my entire life. She artfully weaves together her learned knowledge from her training as well as a powerful intuitive healing guidance. Thank you for being open, very thorough, and nonjudgmental throughout this process! It means a lot to me to have worked with you at this threshold time in my life. I would not have received this level of care from other typical healthcare systems. (I tried and left because I knew I deserved better)

The prenatal chiro adjustments helped with my lower back and hip pain but I was still having pelvic pain and decided to give pelvic floor therapy a try. I could have done it through my insurance for much cheaper but I didn't have a good experience through my insurance's pelvic floor therapy after my first pregnancy. Not all pelvic floor therapists are the same. She is very down to earth, knowledgable, and had lots of suggestions for stretches and exercises to help reduce my pelvic floor pain. Every time I would see her, I'd give her feedback on the stretches and exercises that she had given me for hw and she would take that feedback and build on what worked and what didn't work for me. I continued to see a reduction in my pelvic floor pain where it's now minimal and tolerable. I recommend her services. Also, she has a cute and super chill dog that hangs out in the office who will occasionally greet me for pets when I come in.

Here's a polished review you could post online:…read more I give Spine & Sport Physical Therapy, and especially Sierra Strain and her team, my highest recommendation. I sought treatment for a severe case of left-sided tennis elbow that had been significantly aggravated by my cello playing. As a physician, I have referred countless patients to physical and occupational therapy over the course of my career, and I have also been a patient myself on several occasions. Because of that experience, I feel I have a good sense of what excellent rehabilitation care looks like. The care I received from Sierra and her team was truly outstanding. They were knowledgeable, professional, attentive, and highly skilled. Just as importantly, they took the time to understand my goals, provided clear guidance, and developed a treatment plan that was both effective and practical. Throughout the process, I felt supported, encouraged, and confident that I was receiving exceptional care. Thanks to their expertise, my symptoms improved substantially, and I was able to return to playing the cello with much greater comfort and confidence. I recommend Sierra Strain and the entire Spine & Sport Physical Therapy team without reservation to anyone seeking physical or occupational therapy. Their combination of clinical expertise, professionalism, and genuine concern for their patients is truly exceptional.

When I first came to him, I couldn't externally rotate my shoulder and struggled to get my arm overhead without insane scapular winging. I can now do both, and my winging is pretty much under control. That says a lot, especially considering I have Ehlers-Danlos syndrome. My surgeon has been impressed with Nick's ability to correct my STAM. Dr. Nick has identified my muscle weaknesses, prescribed the right targeted exercises, and has me log them to stay accountable. There have been strong suggestions that I consider another surgery, but Nick has also been able to keep my pain under control with effective, targeted bodywork, including cupping and massage. I've gone to PT at both UCSD and Kaiser without any success, and I'm so thankful Nick has helped me hold off on another surgery. He listens intently and navigates each session in a way that leaves you walking out feeling like you're ready to do all the things your body has been holding you back from. I'm beyond thankful to Dr. Nick and SDSPT. They genuinely want you to get better, I promise you that. I've been to both locations, and they are top-notch. If you're active, an athlete, or just someone who doesn't want another surgery, you'll find the best care here.

They are without a doubt the best physical therapy provider in San Diego county, California, the west coast, and definitely the country. I've been a client since June 2007 when I re-injured my surgically repaired knee a year post surgery. I worked nearby and it came up on the list. I was mostly excited for the location. Once I had my first appointment I knew I had found the perfect medical care professionals. Their treatments are whole body with an emphasis on full mobility. They don't just look at the affected area without considering how it's affecting your walk, stance, sitting, and daily life. I've worked with many of the PTs over the years but have maintained a relationship with one of my original therapist who has helped me through a plethora of issues, injuries, and surgery. I can't recommend them enough and have recommended them to many people. Thank you, RU for giving a darn about your patients and their wellbeing.

My experience with the PTs was mixed. My first two sessions were with Jeff and he seemed to view work as social hour. He would give me exercises then immediately wander off to talk to another PT about his weekend or whatever else. No complaints about his knowledge or abilities as a PT, but he needs to pay more attention to patients. My last four sessions were with Madison and she was great. Much more attentive and also just generally fun to talk to. While I was doing exercises with her (or the assistant) they would walk around, look at my form, tell me where to improve so the exercises were more effective. Felt like I was getting a lot more benefit from those sessions. Overall I'd recommend them, but don't be shy about asking to switch PTs if you don't feel like you got a great one.
