Delmy was so patient and thorough. She spent several hours with me bringing my design to life. And then the next day spent another couple of hours fine tuning, explaining and going through finishes with my husband. She was very diligent in making the right decisions with materials and sharing tips of the trade to get us what we wanted while staying within our defined budget. She even covered pieces in my order that I had forgotten about. She professional and has great instincts. I was also pleased that they had multiple options and we were able to find plenty of stock and availability in both cabinets and countertops. Both were reasonably priced and it was great to find everything at one location instead of having to go to multiple places. Not only was she very quick and responsive, she also went out of her way to get answers with regard to led lighting, delivery stock, etc. I have called in before and i spoke to someone who couldn't provide any answers related to my order and continued to note that there was no way of knowing if they have my order. I even asked what do you know? Do i have half my orders? Is it in stock currently? I am picking up the order tomorrow, what can you tell me? And i was constantly provided with unhelpful non answers. Had we had to deal with this individual, we would not rate cabinet city so highly as there was not even a let me check with warehouse (right across in the adjacent building). There was basically a lack of knowledge or willingness to help (instead of saying i am not sure but i will find out, i get it there is no way of knowing). I am thankful Sherry was our go to person and i am also thankful to the warehouse staff who stepped up to help while the person behind the desk was ignoring customers and not even informing of a wait or someone going on break. Instead someone from the warehouse who picked my order came to me directly to help without me asking. Although every place has their pros and cons, i would say that this place is very lucky to have people like Sherry and the warehouse operators. In terms of product, i am not yet able to comment on the received materials as they are still in their boxes, but my wife and i do love the options at cabinet city especially compared to other companies out there. Pricing is more than fair as well. Picking up the order was also very straightforward and easy. So overall, the positives simply outweigh the negatives. However, the amount of time and effort it took to get it done and get in contact with this guy was ridiculous. Doesn't answer phone, isn't there at the shop when he says he's going to be there and work took an extremely long time with no communication and updates. Since they don't answer the phone or return calls, we tried to head down to the shop and it was closed down. I get that they do a lot of commercial work and large scale projects and aren't able to drop everything for a single kitchen drawer but it was extremely hard to get in contact with this shop. In addition to this, not too friendly. I was finally able to get in contact with someone through yelp and was able to get everything figured out. Great work but pain in the butt getting it done.
