I looked online and randomly picked the closest wrecker service to me. Fortunately, it happened to be "Haul it All Towing". Three men including the owner came to our rescue. They spent an hour or so devising a way to put the boat on their truck. They offered to haul it back to their shop and store it until we were able to secure parts. Turns out we had to replace the whole axle. The owner, Gavin, recommend I try Lawrimore's Trailer in Falkville, AL. They had a perfect match that I was able to secure. Gavin insisted they put the axle on for me. I honestly didn't think we would ever get our boat home, but we did and we have "Haul it All Towing" to thank. These guys are hero's! They showed up in a timely manner and did a fantastic job hooking my coach up and prepped it for towing. This included crawling underneath to disconnect the drive shift. The young woman who did this was a real pro! They took great care during the entire evolution and I went to Velocity the next morning and everything looked perfect! When our son handed him the signed title, he told our son that he had spoken with his father (car owner) and evidence of a refund did not need to be given at that time. This was a bald faced lie. This was a breach of a verbal contract that the owner of Advanced Towing and Recovery in Decatur, Alabama, had with the owner of the car. He basically scammed us to get title of the car without giving us any due financial consideration that he had previously verbally agreed to. When the owner of the car found out there was no credit given, he called the franchise owner and the franchise owner said that "He (car owner) was a fool to allow his son to conduct his business."
