I am very disappointed with the way my situation was handled at St. Agnes Hospital…read more On May 2, 2026, I visited my aunt, who was passing away. Around 9:00 p.m., I took my younger cousins to the food court to get something to eat and distract them from everything that was happening. While getting a bottle of water from one of the refrigerators, my finger was suddenly slammed in the door, immediately turning purple. The pain was intense. When I checked out at the register, I explained what had happened to the cashier. Rather than showing concern, the cashier chuckled and simply asked whether I needed ice. No incident report was created, and no one appeared to care about what had happened. That same night, my aunt passed away, so my focus was understandably on my family rather than the injury to my finger. However, the pain became severe, and I was unable to sleep because the nerve pain was shooting up my entire arm. The following day, I returned to the hospital and spoke with a manager in the food court. I explained what had occurred and asked why no incident report had been filed. The manager contacted security, and I was escorted to the emergency room to have my finger evaluated. I was treated by Dr. Fiscus, who had to burn a hole in my fingernail to relieve the blood buildup. Upon discharge, I signed paperwork and was informed by a staff member that St. Agnes Hospital would be covering the bill because the accident had occurred in the food court. Despite this assurance, I have continued to receive bills from Vituity and Trinity and have spent considerable time speaking with multiple people who now claim that St. Agnes is not responsible. I am extremely disappointed that a hospital with a religious mission has handled this situation in such an uncaring and inconsistent manner. I feel that I was misled regarding responsibility for my medical expenses, and I am especially concerned that I was never contacted by Risk Management despite being told that the matter would be addressed. I am requesting that someone from Risk Management contact me as soon as possible to discuss this incident and provide clarification regarding the outstanding bills related to the injury that occurred on hospital property.

I ended up establishing care with one of the PAs there, Sam, and he has been excellent. He takes the time to actually remember who I am, remembers details from previous visits, and makes every appointment feel personal rather than rushed. What I appreciate most is how educational and nonjudgmental the conversations are. We've had really good discussions about my overall health, lifestyle, things I'm doing well, and areas where I can improve. It feels collaborative instead of transactional, which is honestly rare to find. Whenever I've brought up issues that are outside the scope of primary care, he has had no problem referring me to specialists, and I also appreciate that he follows up on that care afterward instead of just sending you off and forgetting about it. Overall, I've been very happy with the care I've received here, and I genuinely hope I'm able to continue seeing Sam for a long time. Highly recommend if you're looking for a primary care office in Fresno.

My daughter delivered at Clovis Community Medical Center on 8/2/2026…read more We cannot say enough wonderful things about the Labor and Delivery team/Post Partum Team. From the moment my daughter arrived, every member of the staff provided exceptional care with professionalism, compassion, and kindness. They were prompt in responding to every need, took the time to explain everything clearly, and made our family feel supported throughout the entire experience. The personalized attention they gave my daughter made all the difference. They treated her with genuine care and respect, ensuring she felt comfortable, safe, and confident during one of the most important moments of her life. Their expertise and calm demeanor helped create a positive and memorable birth experience. We are especially grateful for the outstanding care that helped welcome our beautiful granddaughter into the world. Thank you to the entire Labor and Delivery team for making such a special day even more meaningful. We will always remember your compassion, dedication, and excellence in patient care. You truly made our family feel like we were in the best hands.

Extremely Disappointing Emergency Room Experience…read more My experiences at this emergency room are always absolutely horrible. Last year, they sent my husband home still very ill only for us to return the next day when they actually had to admit him. Now, today, back for another issue and have been here 6 hours. They expect people that are in pain to sit in the lobby, in uncomfortable chairs and wait for numerous tests, all done with no privacy. All out in the open sitting 1/2 foot away from another patient. Then, they kicked any family members out that weren't there with a minor or a senior citizen over 70. Our lived ones need support from us en they don't feel well! The employees come across as uncaring, rude, and lacking compassion for people who were sick, hurting, and already under a great deal of stress. When someone comes to the ER, they are often scared, in pain, and looking for help, yet the treatment and lack of empathy made an already difficult situation even worse. The waiting room conditions were terrible, and it was upsetting to see sick and suffering patients sitting in hallways while waiting for tests. People deserve dignity, comfort, and basic consideration, especially when they are in pain and need medical attention. I understand that emergency rooms can be busy and understaffed, but that does not excuse rude behavior or a lack of compassion. Patients should not feel ignored, dismissed, or treated as an inconvenience when they are seeking care. Overall, this was an unacceptable experience. This emergency room needs to improve its patient care, communication, waiting conditions, and the way staff treat people. Compassion and respect should be the bare minimum in a healthcare setting.

She'll sit down and leave in the same minute. Won't even refer me to get any help or answers. Had the audacity to ask me "what for" and "for what." Despite the fact that I'm clearly desperate for any kind of help. She doesn't explain or go over anything; she just speaks to me in a very rude manner, as if I'm stupid. Just awful. I've been trying to seek help for months; since MAY. It's OCTOBER. And despite all the tests, they never give me a treatment plan or go over any of the results. They tried giving me the same antibiotics that didn't work; I spoke up and got shut down. FK that. never again The lady with Sharpied eyebrows at the front desk is terrible she had such an ugly tone with me, to the point someone overheard. The waiting area has been packed, and the receptionists are in the back just gossiping SMH. Good riddance; go anywhere but here. This place is just absolutely awful. The nurses are nicer than the doctors !!!
