Fantastic experience dealing with Doug Melcher on the purchase of a mid-sized Kubota tractor and 9 implements. Did the deal over the phone and email, with a "virtual handshake." Doug is a man of his word. Prices due to rampant inflation have increased substantially in this late-2021 to early-2022 period, Doug did not increase his price as we waited to all the equipment to arrive in this screwed up supply chain period. Truly rare in these times, and although Terry County Tractor is 3 hours away from me, I will buy from him in the future, even though my local Kubota is minutes away. My tractor was difficult to repair, Shane Melcher fixed my tractor when others could not. TCT was fair on the cost of repairs.

I could not be happier with Doug and his team at TCT. We just bought our second piece of equipment from them (not counting several service calls). They are always prompt in service and response as well as fair and competitive with pricing. Also, their office is clean and welcoming. I am very disappointed in the way I was treated by Terry Co Tractor Inc. I did not buy the tractor from them, I had purchased the equipment in Lubbock, Texas. I do not see this as an excuse to be rude to anyone! It was made clear that they were not interested in having me as a customer. The tractor has been unreliable since it had about 50 hours on it. I will surely not be doing business with Terry Co. because of the way we were treated. They got one star because they did answer the phone! read more
