April 26, 2016 We had the pleasure of having Terrie Cox conduct two real estate transactions for us in the past four months. In both cases her experience and uncommonly high level of professionalism led to successfully completed sales. Terrie represented the sellers in our purchase of our dream home and subsequently listed and sold our former home. In both cases, she listened to what we wanted, provided valuable guidance and accurately represented our interests. This led to two completed transactions in a short amount of time without the usual stress, emotion and wrangling that can often accompany real estate transactions. While working with Terrie, we were impressed with how she used her experience and judgment to navigate both transactions to a positive ending. Importantly, during the process we came to know her as a genuinely nice person with endearing quirks, a consummate professional and a tireless worker. For these reasons, we would enthusiastically recommend her to anyone looking to buy or sell a home. Mitch and Diana Almy Vancouver, Washington read more

Much appreciation and thanks to Terrie with helping us sell our first home and purchase our second home during the early stages of covid restrictions. She helped us find the perfect upgrade, gave great advice, and was always happy to answer our calls and questions. Thank you for your guidance and assistance with finding our new home. read more

I met Terrie after I had my house on the market for 6 month with another realtor with no action. After signing with Terrie, the house was sold and closed within 30 days. When it came time to sell my second property, it was Terrie again that I turned to. And again it was sold and closed within 45 days over asking price. I would highly recommend the best service if you want to see best results. Sometimes you have to pay a bit more to get a bit more at the end. Thanks. read more

I read the positive review of Terrie above and was excited to meet her. However, the Terrie Cox I met showed up 45 minutes late, did not even bother to introduce herself, grilled my husband & I about our finances, showed us a house that had already been sold and was obviously disorganized, unresearched and angry. Maybe she should spend a little less money putting her airbrushed 15 year old photo all over the Vancouver area and spend the money on Charm School. She is unprofessional, rude and has no interest in the customer. At least that is the Terrie Cox that I met in February 2012. read more

My husband and I use listing agents every time we purchase a home. (6 transactions now) And this is the absolute worst realtor we've EVER dealt with! I can't believe how many people use this useless woman to sell their home. Shady and unprofessional to say the least. My husband ended up suing her, and she acquiesced on the 11th hour, fully knowing she was going to lose, and it would permanently be on her record. My biggest regret?....Not using my own realtor to deal with her. (At least MY realtor would of gotten the commission that Terrie clearly didn't deserve) read more

I wouldn't give Terrie Cox even 1 star but I had to in order to get to the comment page. I'm thanking my lucky stars she was NOT our realtor, she unfortunately was the sellers. With any requests we made it took more than one attempt from my realtor to get a response from her, when she did respond back to us it was at the 11th hour. Probably because she's so old school using paper documents vs using docu-sign. Terrie didn't read the documents clearly as SHE misled or straight up lied to her clients. On the day we recorded on our new home she claimed she didn't get the email from the title company which was a LIE! Less than 1 hour after the property was recorded as ours she and her clients were asking for an extension. Once the deadline came for her clients to be gone she had no qualms about telling them they had three more days according to an addendum which she didn't read. Her poor clients had to leave their old home in a rush with kids in tow because she and her clients didn't read the addendum. SAD!!! Then she had the audacity to have her assistant call my realtor and give her the riot act. Terrie Cox is a classless, self serving human being. As another reviewer stated run don't walk away from this woman. read more

Terrie Cox is the best realtor we have ever worked with. She went above and beyond our expectations in handling our existing home sell, and new home purchase very professionally. It is very difficult to find a realtor that really works for you. We can't say enough about her abilities to sell your house and find the best suited home based on your criteria. Terrie stays in constant communication through our selling and purchasing venture. This was a breath of fresh air compared to any of our previous realtor experiences.  We are highly recommending her! read more

RUDEST REALTOR EVER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! To say that Terrie Cox is extremely rude is like saying that the Pacific NW is just a little damp - a gross understatement. Why I am writing this post? One, I am still sitting here in complete disbelief at the manner in which this woman just spoke to me and my husband and what she accused us of doing to her and her assistant Pam. Two, would be the hope that sharing this with other Yelp readers may help prevent them from having to go through the emotional distress that we just experienced at the hands of Terrie Cox. As my husband was returning from work and walking up the stairs, I saw him answer his cell phone. This was about 45 minutes ago. Based on his expression, it quickly became apparent that the person on the other end was being less than pleasant. I then asked him to hand me the phone to find out it was Terrie calling us regarding a property that we are very interested in and have been seriously considering purchasing. We first contacted Terrie last Saturday and the best way I can describe that initial call was it felt like we were being grilled by her. Still, we were very interested in the house so I answered all her questions. During this phone call, I let her know that we had someone to help us buy the house. She suggested that we first drive up to the property and then call her back if we were still interested in viewing the house. When we called her back, she let us know that the people could not show the property today and that we would need to see it sometime next week to which we agreed. Within about 15 minutes, she called us back and let us know that she could show it to us the next day - Sunday. When we got there, it was not Terrie but her assistant Pam who showed up to take us through the house. Pam by the way was pleasant. Long story short, tonight's phone call from Terrie consisted of her reading us the riot act, being verbally abusive, and flat out calling me a liar. She was angry with my husband that we had our own realtor. When I took the phone, she insisted that we had wasted her and her assistant's time and that we were responsible for her having to call Pam out on her day off. Although, I reminded her that we were not the ones that had asked Pam to come out that day and were willing to wait until the previously agreed upon next week showing, she continued to rant at me. Finally, after being accused several more times of not telling her the truth and going behind her back by having a realtor of our own, I let her know that our best course would be to agree to disagree, she quite nastily thanked me and then hung up on me. How I would best describe Terrie is that she reminds me of Amy from Amy's Baking Company. My understanding is that she is associated with RE/MAX. This is certainly not the brand ambassador I would want if I were RE/MAX. Please, do yourself and your friends a favor and run - don't walk - in the other direction as fast as you can from Terrie Cox. You'll thank yourself and so will others. read more

Terrie is a very knowledgeable and experienced realtor. She works hard and does effective and frequent advertising for your property. She also negotiates acceptalbe terms to suit the seller and buyer read more

Let me start out by saying I have had no experience or "personal" contact with Terrie Cox: HOWEVER, although our house is not for sale she somehow gained access to my email address AND name to peddle her wares and it annoyed me. I believe anyone who accesses and pays for these "black market" lists should be under scrutiny and suspicion for their lack of discretion. I don't appreciate any violation of my privacy, and because of that one fact alone, I would never employ her. Thx. read more

Terrie has been our agent for three real estate transactions, the last of which occurred while we were in France. We received an unsolicited offer for home just as we were leaving for a month long trip. We called Terri and she took care of all the details. This often meant she had to call us at night her time to talk to us on France time. But then we never expected less than Terri. In our two previous transaction she always followed through on what she promised, gave us excellent advice and made the process as painless as possible. We highly recommend her. read more

This was our second time using Terrie Cox as our agent. The first time was buying our home in Vancouver and then recently when we sold the home. Terrie was our choice because we appreciated her marketing strategy, broad base of potential buyers and constant availability to discuss what was happening. She and her staff were always available by e-mail or phone, even when we were on different time zones. When our potential sale stalled at the lender, they did everything possible to get the deal done and keep us updated during the process. read more

What an amazing realtor! Terrie was undeniably the finest agent we have dealt with. She marketed our home better than we could've hoped for, and our house sold very quickly! She and her team worked non-stop, sometimes any and all hours to get the job done. To say I'm impressed is an understatement. She always had our best interest at heart and represented us well and I couldn't be more thankful. read more

I initially chose Terrie Cox to represent me in the sale of my home because of all of her extensive advertising on her listings. I felt Terrie could get my property maximum exposure and she did. It sold in 5 days. I soon learned there is much more to like about Terrie than just her widespread advertising. She brought over a painter for me and personally took care of immediate needs from helping me organize to downsize, help get my furniture sold, follow-up with move in dates of my retirement center home as well as getting through the inspection and appraisal process. Explaining the paperwork alone. She helped me simplify a process that seemed daunting to me on my own. Should I ever need a Real Estate Broker in the future it will be Terrie. read more

I have seen Terrie's advertising all over town, in the newspaper and on line for years. I have seen her listings in my neighborhood, so i thought she would be a good choice to have list my house. She listed my house (north of $700,000 +) and it sat for 9 months with very little activity. At the end of the listing period, she practically begged me to renew the listing. During the listing I had asked for copies of flyers, ads she had run and what my house needed to get sold. She very quickly declined and told me the house was significantly overpriced for the market. That shocked me, because she was the one that set the price in the first place. I did not renew the listing and went with another brokerage in town. When I was referred to a very experienced agent in that company, i was very relieved. That agent (which will remain nameless) asked me why I thought my house didn't sell. I said price! Fortunately I was wrong. My new agent took the listing at a price $55K higher than Terrie and got it sold in 3 weeks. I pinned down my agent and asked her why my house didn't get sold with Terrie, she practically winced in pain and I had to drag it out of her. She indicated that Terrie has a bad reputation in town and other agents don't like working with her. Some , if not most don't like showing her listings. She tries to represent the seller and buyer, I guess that makes her more money. That is a very sad reflection on her and her brokerage. Shame, shame, shame. D.T. read more
