I never wait more than ten mins yet we are never rushed out the door either. Both doctors are very friendly and my boys love them both. Update: Been here for over a year now. We are well settled in and I couldn't be happier. Finding a Dr to replace your kids Dr is hard. I haven't had a single issue with this office. Not once. They're great with referrals also which is a big deal for some offices it seems. Not here. Anything THEY can do in office they gladly do. No shipping you out unless they have to which is also great.

In fact, these documents had been hand delivered previously and the office lost them but instead of admitting their mistake, they took on an attitude that I was lying. We had gone to a lot of trouble to make sure they had those documents prior to the visit, so it was very troubling that not only did they not know where they were, but that they were so accusatory in their manner. The nurse that took us back for our well visit got nasty with us when we stated that our child needed a certain amount of shots for school and the nurse corrected us and we said that no, we think it's X amount and that's when her tone got very nasty. We didn't mean to offend her or question her credibility, we were mistaken & we said as much. Her tone never changed. The Dr. was nice enough, mostly you could tell she had a script to follow of things that she's supposed to say at every well checkup visit and it sounded forced. Could have done without the nutritional speech & what constitutes a "healthy snack" (been parenting for 27 yrs) but she was respectful of our child. The dr. got a little more animated when we declined a certain shot but in the end respected our decision after having us explain it, which was unnecessary. Overall, the Dr. was good, the nurse that gave the shots was good, the nurse (different from shot nurse) who took us back to the room was rude & front staff were condescending. Will be looking for a new practice.

However, in today's day and age it is a rarity to find a caring, personable doctor. Cadoro has only two pediatricians on staff, but they manage to handle the workload, you never have to wait too long and in case of an emergency, they always manage to take you in. Both Dr. Monaco and Dr. Chen clear care about their patients, make them feel comfortable and actually remember everything and anything that may pertain to your child - not only their medical history, but their preferences, fears, comfort level, etc. We've been going to Cadoro for close to two years and I don't foresee getting another pediatrician. PS: Although they take most common insurance, co-payments are accepted as cash only!

Once you finally do make it in for your child's appointment, get ready for even more attitude. They will make you stand there and wait while they gossip behind the glass, and file their nails. Then, because they're not paying attention, they will call you back up to the glass for information THEY forgot to take from you (then blame you for not telling them how to do their jobs). And don't get me started on the doctor who wasn't able to diagnose ringworm on my daughter!

I am writing this review after a very upsetting experience today at Advocare Pediatric Marlton…read more My child was sick with a high fever and diarrhea, yet we were made to wait nearly 2 hours for a sick appointment -- and in the end, we were never even seen by a doctor. During that entire time, the front desk repeatedly told us, "there is one more child ahead of you." If the doctor was unavailable or running significantly behind, we should have been informed so we could go to another urgent care clinic instead of waiting with a very ill child. While we were sitting in the waiting room, my child's condition worsened -- he also had another diarrhea episode while waiting. Despite this, the front desk staff showed no empathy whatsoever. I would have OKed that if we had at least been seen by a doctor -- but instead, the situation became even worse. What made the experience even more upsetting was seeing several other children who arrived later -- all from white families -- being seen and leaving much earlier. Watching that happen while our sick child continued to wait was extremely distressing. On the way home, I was so upset about how my husband and child were treated that I ended up crying. After waiting for almost 2 hours without ever seeing a doctor, we were still charged a copay. When we asked for a refund, the front desk told us -- in a dismissive and rigid manner -- that the billing department was unavailable and that we would have to call another day to request the refund. For the sake of your child's physical and emotional well-being -- especially for racial minority families, new immigrants, or foreign professionals who may face similar treatment from the front desk, be careful taking your very sick poor child here, learn my lesson.This will probably the last time we come to this clinic for a sick appointment. The doctors may be great but the front desk staff/nurse is absolutely horrible. The staff at the front desk are always nice, and the girls that take you to the back are very nice too. We love Dr. Waxman, he has been with us from the beginning. But if he was off or booked and needed to be treated as soon as possible we have always been happy with who we saw. The office itself is clean and kid friendly. Each room is different, so it makes it fun to see which room you'll get. They also have a sick side and a well side. They also give cute duckies after your visit lol. I've never had a problem getting an appointment during hours either. Billing issue once but that was fixed. They really are great there. And will miss Dr. Waxman when it's time for ours to move onto adult things lol Dp
