I am writing this review after a very upsetting experience today at Advocare Pediatric Marlton…read more My child was sick with a high fever and diarrhea, yet we were made to wait nearly 2 hours for a sick appointment -- and in the end, we were never even seen by a doctor. During that entire time, the front desk repeatedly told us, "there is one more child ahead of you." If the doctor was unavailable or running significantly behind, we should have been informed so we could go to another urgent care clinic instead of waiting with a very ill child. While we were sitting in the waiting room, my child's condition worsened -- he also had another diarrhea episode while waiting. Despite this, the front desk staff showed no empathy whatsoever. I would have OKed that if we had at least been seen by a doctor -- but instead, the situation became even worse. What made the experience even more upsetting was seeing several other children who arrived later -- all from white families -- being seen and leaving much earlier. Watching that happen while our sick child continued to wait was extremely distressing. On the way home, I was so upset about how my husband and child were treated that I ended up crying. After waiting for almost 2 hours without ever seeing a doctor, we were still charged a copay. When we asked for a refund, the front desk told us -- in a dismissive and rigid manner -- that the billing department was unavailable and that we would have to call another day to request the refund. For the sake of your child's physical and emotional well-being -- especially for racial minority families, new immigrants, or foreign professionals who may face similar treatment from the front desk, be careful taking your very sick poor child here, learn my lesson. This will probably the last time we come to this clinic for a sick appointment. The doctors may be great but the front desk staff/nurse is absolutely horrible. Today's experience was unprofessional, poorly managed, and heart breaking.Families come here when their children are vulnerable and need care. What we experienced today was simply unacceptable.

If you're a new parent or new to the area, this is a perfect place to bring children. We have been…read morebringing our child since he was a newborn. (13 years now). The staff at the front desk are always nice, and the girls that take you to the back are very nice too. We love Dr. Waxman, he has been with us from the beginning. But if he was off or booked and needed to be treated as soon as possible we have always been happy with who we saw. The office itself is clean and kid friendly. Each room is different, so it makes it fun to see which room you'll get. They also have a sick side and a well side. They also give cute duckies after your visit lol. I've never had a problem getting an appointment during hours either. Billing issue once but that was fixed. They really are great there. And will miss Dr. Waxman when it's time for ours to move onto adult things lol Dp

When you're searching for a pediatrician who gives the best care for your child- a doctor of…read moreintegrative medicine sounds like they would cover all health angles- hopefully treating your child as a whole person and treating them and the cause of an ailment instead of writing a drug prescription immediately. I have yet to experience this with this clinic, however I am hopeful as DR Levy seems not only intelligent and caring but a progressive thinker. All the reviews about him are sterling and besides his curt manner, I agree with his reviewers and am excited to see how further appointments with him go- A word to the business and to future patients however- the front desk staff are in need of a lesson in hospitality. They are curt too, and very unprofessional, even argumentative. I hope for the sake of the drs and the new merged business that the front desk girls (1 in particular) get their act together and do not further insult their patients parents. The patient's parents are usually stressed, concerned, confused and in need of direction and explanations. Show a little compassion and if thats too much to ask- for the love of God- at least look up from your desk or break your conversation with your co worker to acknowledge someone's presence. (some of us are paying out of pocket and could take our business elsewhere)... I hope to write a more positive review in the future! Common' ladies, have a little class and professionalism. I would kill to have your job.

The CHOP network is a large comprehensive group of very talented doctors. My children visit this…read moreplace for their primary care needs. They have also been under the care of the pediatric surgical ENT's. I love their patient online platform it's extremely user-friendly. It has EVERYTHING you could possibly need just a click away. I find my children's vaccination records, upcoming and previous visits, prescriptions, medical professionals who have provided care for my children from all the different facilities. Dr. Mcfadden is great! She has a warm and caring bedside manner approach and is a fantastic active listener. The office is large and I have never had issues with parking. The nurses are sweet and I feel the staff offer quality service. My son 3, once injured his forehead (huge bump and slight bleed) playing with friends. I called the practice and was able to do an assessment with a RN over the phone saving us a trip to the ER or Urgent Care. I definitely recommend.

All it did was prove to sure up their existing business model. After calling early in the morning and being told I would get a call back about my daughter being seen. Let me restate... my children's only pediatrician is CHOP. They were born in a CHOP hospital and have only seen CHOP pediatricians from this office for their entire lives so don't believe the hype they literally treat everyone this awful. I didn't get a call back until 3pm! And when I requested an appointment I was told that if I could go to urgent care... There is literally no point to having a doctor who's only recommendation is to go to urgent care when you are sick. I am a fully grown adult person... I am aware emergency rooms exist and urgent care exists. I don't need that kind of help. This was not an emergency but is something that a doctor should look at to keep from it getting so bad I actually do need to take my child to the emergency room. I am switching from CHOP. These large hospital systems don't care about people... they care about money. I would hope that since they deal with children that would not be the case. Yet again my optimism was misplaced. Awful
