Last year I had to get a suspicious looking mole cut from my leg. It turned out to be an abnormal mole with the potential to become cancerous, so I've been getting regular check ups on the insistence of my doctor ever since.
I go to Terrace Dermatology for a full body skin-check every 6 months, which involves stripping down to your undies, and I've never once felt uncomfortable like I have in other medical situations. My dermatologist is Dr Rowland Noakes, who is very thorough and checks between your toes and behind your ears.
If you ask (which I did, because I am a crazy hypochondriac) he can even whip out this neat gadget he attaches to his iPhone4, which takes photos of your moles that he can track the progress of at each consultation. He is also the cheeriest person I have ever met in my goddamn life, which is pretty remarkable considering he must spend a lot of time burning warts off people's feet.
