Both events were absolutely amazing. I've been to plenty of similar events, as well as a lot of high-end chefs tasting menus in the area, and this is definitely on of Charlestons best.

What do you have is Chef Bob Waggoner who has been a recognized chef for 30+ years. An affable, friendly, humorous teacher of skills and cooking, who will answer your questions quickly and effectively. The food "we" prepared, obviously with a lot of help from Chef Bob, was delicious beyond belief. Bob of course chooses the menu and buys all of the ingredients for each one of the appetizers, of the main course, and the dessert. As you smell what you are cooking, it comes alive to your nose and to your other senses. After that you sit down and eat your appetizer and then go back to fix your main course and then of course the dessert later. I wish that my photos would give some idea of the tastiness of our meal. It is so difficult to explain the taste of a meal that you have created, although Chef Bob was quickly back and forth to each of the 6 stoves being used by 12 strangers, who by the end of the evening (2 1/2 hours!) were not strangers any longer.

We go every Saturday, in the morning. Nora smiles so big when she sees us pull up to the location. She has made new friends and has really opened up. It is the perfect time for us, since it is right before nap time. It helps get her nice and worn out. She is learning to share, be independent from us, new skills each week, etc. Ms. Nikki is the absolute best. She is very encouraging, even helping Nora to learn walk. The structure is fantastic. It's a good mix of tumbling/gymnastics, learning new skills to do with your child (flips, handstands, wheelbarrows, etc) and it incorporates music/dancing as well. I would HIGHLY recommend taking your child here. It has been so great for Nora and I'm so happy we signed up to continue going.

My wife and I took our son for several months when he was just a wee little baby and loved it. We noticed marked improvements in his overall physicality. Then, we moved and life happened, so we fell out of touch with The Little Gym for a while. We always wanted to put him back in, so we were finally able to when he was 3. He's now 4, and we're so glad to be back. Even though there is a Summerville location that would be closer to home we really like this West Ashley location. It's worth the extra drive time. We love the owner Mrs. Tori. She's fantastic with children. She has a way with capturing their attention and making sure they're all involved. All the instructors are carefully selected and trained and have their own unique aspects they bring to the classes. In classes the kids learn different jumps, strengthening exercises, and stability moves. When first starting to walk it definitely sped things up a bit for my son. Now, I notice my son's grip and holding strength improving. Not to mention he has a blast each week. He can't wait for Little Gym time on the weekend. Also, there are parent survival nights where you can drop your kids off for 3 hours and have a little time to yourself or a date night. They have other activities and events beyond the normal classes (which there a range of) making it well worth the money.
