Plus 15 euro a day for parking your car. They would not let us cancel reservation or at least stay one night and move on to another location! If you are going to charge this much for buffet food it should not be cold and made in mass quantities and taste like its a frozen dinner! Plus they don't have designated seating areas and we had to sit next to screaming babies and kids that were running around. Then you have the wait staff who look like they are unhappy and underpaid and don't appropriately bus the tables. Lastly, the waitress even told us if we want hot water to go to the microwave to heat it. Not a communication problem because two family members are fluent in Spanish as their native language!!! Horrible waitstaff service! To the manager, please don't say you look forward to making our stay better upon our next visit because that won't happen! We will ensure our friends and family know your properties are only about the money and not the guest. Can't wait to checkout in the morning and go to a hotel that wants their guest to feel welcomed and appreciated. Shame on your company for not having a better policy with a guaranteed nice stay and for holding us hostage to stay at your facility and forced to eat your mediocre food that is cold and undercooked with grumpy staff! Avoid this place unless you like to pay a faculty to treat you crappy and eat poor food, and sleep on poor quality beds. On a positive e note facility is visually appealing but do t be fooled!

There are some noticeable differences between Conrad Algarve and other Conrads I've visited (Tokyo, Osaka, Seoul, Singapore, etc.), all of which have fantastic, over the top breakfast buffets, lovely exec lounges, wonderful spa facilities, and (daily) afternoon tea offerings. I believe the main difference boils down to resort hotel vs city hotel, bc resort hotels typically don't have an exec lounge, although some do for VIPs (if your room is located in the VIP corridor, tower, etc.) Overall, an excellent stay! Conrad Algarve opened in Sept 2012 and apparently was the first Conrad to open in Europe. After 12+ years, it appears most of the property is still very well maintained, and most (but def not all) staff were very friendly. BIG SHOUT OUT to Miguel & Jose for being super helpful in and around the lobby/front desk, and of course the lovely Claudia & Mafalda at Luoro breakfast every morning + Loro Lounge Tea Experience! Muito obrigado for the super relaxing stay! Until we meet again! =D

From the check-in process all the way to our checkout early morning on departure day, we were made to feel welcome and the hospitality was superb. The rooms are warm yet modern enough and you melt into the bed. Chats within the app were addressed within minutes, the thermal spa was a welcome amenity at the end of the day, and the overall ambiance of the entire property was just fantastic. We will really miss our stay and experience at the Conrad Algarve.

The pool is very well kept and the lifeguard wipes down the pool chairs in between uses which is very great to see in the middle of a pandemic. The location is perfectly close to everything you need. The main square is a very short walk away filled with many restaurants and bars. There is a supermarket just two blocks away filled with all the snacks and drinks you could need for your room. There are also several restaurants on the beach just minutes away with some great offers. There are mini fridges in the room which is very convenient for keeping a couple cold beers or some cheese and crackers to have on your balcony for a snack. Beds were very comfortable and there's a safe to keep all your valuables. The breakfast here is not great but for how inexpensive this hotel is, it's really jot an issues. For me it was better to walk down to the local bakery and get a fresh Portuguese pastry and coffee. There are two wonderful bakeries near by so do not hesitate to branch out! Great stay will be return again soon. Ps. Pro tip: Bring your own beach towel or by one at the little shops in the area. They will charge you an arm and leg to rent one!

This hotel is right in the middle of all of the exciting shops and restaurants on the boardwalk. I would recommend staying here, but I do have a few tips for you. There is a private pool, but it is small and there are not many chairs. You also can't book the chairs, but people will put out their towel and hog the chair all day. Be weary of this. Bring your own towels! If you don't you will have to buy elsewhere as the hotel does not provide this service. Do not buy the towels on the boardwalk, but rather walk along the main street and find a cheap vendor as they sell the same towels for less than half price outside of the busier areas. The beach access is nice as well. If you are staying for awhile, consider buying an umbrella or bringing your own. Otherwise, you will have to rent their permanent umbrellas for 12 euro if you stay at the hotel. The reclining chairs come with a nice mat that is comfortable to relax on all day. Food nearby at restaurants is great as well. Restaurants stay open way past midnight and people do not start their meal until almost 10pm. Expect dinner to last 2-3+ hours without a rush.
