EXQUISITE! It's always a wonderful visit, truly a spa-like experience! The atmosphere is fabulous & the girls always do a great job. The shampooing is always my favorite part-- prepare yourself for the best scalp massage you've ever had & the hot towel thing is so nice. I just love it. Don't fear about color going wrong at TERRAbacio. I recently took the plunge & colored my hair bright red. Sadly, it faded pretty quickly from my hair & didn't take as well as I'd liked it to (unfortunately, common with my hair anyway). I called & told the girl at the front that I was unhappy & wanted to schedule another appointment to fix it. It was fixed at no charge & came out looking FANTASTIC. Do NOT hesitate to come here; they are truly fixated on making you happy! read more

Horrible. I've been forced to reschedule appointments several times and trying to get in for 2 months because every time they reschedule me they call the day of and cancel due to COVID. If you're getting COVID that often, I don't want to go there. Stay away from them unless you never want to get an appointment or be exposed to COVID. Just poor operations all together. read more

Alyssa has always done a great job on my hair! i love coming here. Great atmosphere! everyone is always friendly!

I had a cut and color scheduled and when I got there at my appointment time, the doors were still locked. The front office staff arrived about 15 minutes after the store was supposed to open. I was in a hurry and decided to just get the color and not the cut. I asked the front desk employee to cancel my cut and I specifically asked her to take out the gloss treatment they always try to sell me. when I checked out they had charged me for the gloss. I did not know that they had applied the gloss. Evidently the stylist had applied it when he was washing out my color but did not discuss this with me. When I discussed this with the staff checking me out she told me this was my fault for not telling the stylist. My point was that I didn't know he was applying it so how would I know to tell the stylist? I didn't tell him I didn't want the cut and he didn't attempt to cut my hair. Also they charge me an extra $40 for a blow dry that left my hair still damp without any styling. I am very disappointed with this experience. Mostly though, I am disappointed in how the front desk staff yelled at me and was very rude. read more

I love this place. Alyssa is a beautiful person and I felt like the spa cared very much for the satisfaction of customers. I would go back in a heartbeat! Thank you TerraBacio:)! read more

Love this salon! I had been looking for a new place since moving to Madison and finally gave them a chance. So glad I did!

Not impressed. When she went to cut my hair, she never asked how short I wanted it. I didn't notice until It was too late and she had already cut off several inches. I cried when I got home. Won't be going back. read more

I had the best haircut I've had in four years! I am over 50 and moving every year or so because of my husband's job. I am so excited to find a stylist, Molly, who listened to what I wanted and more importantly what I liked and didn't like about my hair. I not only left with a great style but a feeling that I found my home for the next year or so... Molly is the bomb! read more

I went here today due to a hair emergency. I tried to give myself highlights at home, and large strands of my hair ended up turning grey! My stylist's name was Justin. He absolutely perfected my hair. I am going on vacation tomorrow and was terrified that my hair would stay grey, but Justin was able to take out all of the grey by shampooing it and stripping the grey color. He is wonderful! I am SO thankful for Terra Bacio. My hair is now perfect. I would highly recommend this salon; the staff/stylists are professional, friendly, and they get the job done. While I was waiting, I was offered a complimentary hand massage. The atmosphere is peaceful and very clean as well. I couldn't be happier with my experience here! read more

Went here for an updo, and it was beautiful! I have fine and oily hair so I was afriad that it won't hold up for the day; but it did! Went in for a consultation 2-3 days before and she told me to do some prep-work, which was a pain but I didn't mind because I think it helped the hair to hold it's shape. My stylist was friendly, nice and knows what she was doing. It wasn't a fancy or hard up do (curled hair on side, gave some volume to the tap and clipped some hair pieces), but I think she did a great job regardless. What took off a star for me is that I booked with another stylist, who many people recommended her). When I went in for the consultation, I was told that she had quit and they had rebook me with this new stylist. Wished an advance heads-up would've been great because I was already stressful to begin with. In the end, it worked out well. Salon - clean and tidy although very boxy and separate off. The stylists chairs are lined on the right side, semi-walled off. The wash stations are on the left (with mani and pedi stations if I remember correctly). The massage therapy is upstairs, which I didn't see. Overall, I will return and hopefully become a regular to actually have a "stylist"... I've been looking for awhile but unsuccessful... read more

I live out of town but travel to Huntsville to see family on a regular basis. Everytime I visit, I go to Terra Bacio for a haircut! The best stylist is definitely Mallory. She has cut my hair several times and each time it is absolutely perfect! I only wish she lived in my town so I could see her regularly. If you are looking for a new stylist or just want to try this salon out, you should book her. The front desk people are very helpful and polite. You are greeted by a big smile as soon as you walk in and offered a complimentary beverage! The wait time is short and the whole place is very relaxing. Great salon, definitely worth a visit. read more

I came in yesterday, 9/29/2021, as a walk-in in hopes of having a terrible cut that I had received at another Salon fixed. From the moment I arrived, I was treated by the staff with a sincere kindness and desire to help that I have never received at ANY other salon I have ever visited in my life! The staff worked together to find a way to get me in quickly and I had the honor of having Alyssa as my stylist. Alyssa is AMAZING and she did a fabulous job fixing the terrible cut that I came in with. The team work displayed by the staff was astounding and such a welcome change from other salons that have a lot of drama and gossiping. The young gal who did my shampoo (I'm so sorry that I don't remember her name) was also amazing with giving me the BEST shampoo that I've ever had as well as being so sweet and telling me how highly skilled a stylist Alyssa is as she shampooed me. You have an amazing team at Terrabacio and I will be a lifetime customer! Thank you to all of the staff for such wonderful service, and a special thank you to Alyssa for making me feel so good when I left after arriving feeling awful about my hair! I can't wait to come back in November! Run, don't walk, to the best salon in Huntsville! Warmly, Terra P.S. If I could give a higher star review I would!!!!! read more

I called today, 2/16/22 to get a price on a haircut. I told the lady I spoke to I want to get a Bob haircut. She said it would be $49, even though the website says $39+ for women. She then added it also depends on the experience of the hairstylist. Even when she quoted me the price of $49, it still sounded iffy. The prices on the website are also listed for children and men. She stammered when giving me this information. I decided not to make an appointment, since I may end up paying $100.00 for such a simple haircut style. I am from IL, and even with the hair salons on Michigan Avenue, they can quote you an exact price. read more

I appreciate Amanda so much. She continues to give me great advice for my hair care. I'm a little behind on developing a professional style. She's quickly catching me up. I love every visit with her. read more

Russell and Jackie are great! The salon is a little over priced but the service is great. My Aveda salon in California was not as expensive. Russell worked very well with me. He helped me decide what will be best for my hair. He was kind and easy to talk to. Jackie trimmed my 10 year olds hair. She made her hair look great considering she had spent two days at the pool. read more

Terrible. Went in wanting ombre, specifically showed a picture of what I wanted and what I didn't want and came out with terrible highlights. Came back again to get it fixed a day later and he still charged me for full service I was stunned. Called the manager and basically told me it was my fault and would give me my money back for the second service, won't give me complementary color or anything. They try to be a very upscale "aveda" salon but they are not worth the time or money. read more

Lauren is an awesome hairstylist. There was no awkward silence to sit through while she worked wonders on my hair! She works w/ mixed chicks hair! She made me feel at ease & her prices are good! I didn't have to worry about her burning me with the flat iron & she got my hair super straight. My hair stayed straight for days w/o the burnt hair smell! I can't wait till my next hair appointment next month! read more

This is the top salon in Huntsville. They always work to get me on the schedule when needed, and I've never been disappointed with a cut. The attention to detail the stylists give to your cut/color really shows, whether doing highlights/lowlights, even bayalage! I highly recommend Daniel, but all of the stylists are highly skilled at what they do! If you want quality treatment, look no further! read more

Go see Russell! Such a meticulous and knowledgeable professional. He gave me the best haircut I've had in years. He is a gem in Huntsville. I was lucky he had a cancellation, I called for last minute appt if anybody had time and got Russell. What luck! He fixed a shoddy cut and I felt right at home. I feel very comfortable recommending him. read more

After hearing rave reviews about this place, I called and made an appointment so I can finally have a local trusted salon for my tresses. I was literally on my drive over to the salon, five minutes from parking, when the salon called saying my appointment was changed to 5pm. They claimed they had some computer error and overbooked or something to that effect. No respectable business calls a client less than 15 minutes from an appointment to notify a customer; and even if that is the case, they don't do it without offering some kind of incentive; be it a complimentary hair treatment, or partial payment, etc. Truly disappointing because once I find a place, I'm loyal to it; my last salon had my business for a solid seven years until I relocated out of the area. Guess I'll have to keep looking for a reputable salon. read more

I really have wanted to like this place; however, it really is poorly managed. How can the owner expect to keep this place open much longer having opened a new place (sterile and very uninviting) further down Whitesburg Drive????? The exorbitant costs for services just don't fit the quality of service you receive there. read more

I have had my eye brows tinted here and my eyelashes. Not only are they professional and clean but they are curtious and proformed the job very, very well. The prices are reasonable and I just love this place! I would definitely recommend them! read more

Russell did an amazing job on my highlights. I haven't been this happy with my hair in years. The ambience of the salon is great, and everyone I dealt with was very friendly and professional. Thank you, Russell!! read more

Professional and they got me in for a color fix emergency! Thanks!

Daniel did an excellent job with my hair! The color is exsquisite and better than I could have imagined. The whole salon staff was great. I felt very welcomed and comfortable there. The products smell amazing and left my hair feeling so soft and movable. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is because it's pretty expensive. I absolutely loved the outcome but it hurt to spend that much on my hair. I'll be back though and hopefully maintenance will be a more wallet friendly! read more

Kenzie was AWESOME!! The first person to truly understand my fine hair. Great cut and foil. Definitely recommend!

I moved to Huntsville about a two years ago and had some trouble finding a salon and a good stylist. I noticed Terra Bacio was an aveda salon and decided to make an appointment for a haircut and color. The front staff was very nice and professional, they were able to fit me in right away with Keyona. She is very sweet and will give you an honest opinion while also keeping your thoughts and feelings in mind. She was very knowledgeable about the products I should use for my hair, this was probably the best experience for my hair Ive ever had and I can not wait until my next appointment!! read more
