No one local answers the phone! A call center for terminix takes all calls I tried to call the local people to change what time they were coming to spray at my house-no answer! Cancelled! read more

Buyer beware! I switched from a local pest control company to Terminix and that has been the biggest mistake, not to mention they charge three times as much as the local company. The management at the Richland location must be an absolute clown. And Lisa Berry is an absolute scam artist that hops around from location to location, I see you in Hattiesburg. The call centers are just another joke added to the equation, calls are routed out of the country to people that have no idea what they are doing besides reading a script over and over again. This massive corporation does nothing but lie, cheat and steal. My suggestion is to get yourself a non corporate pest control company. read more

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! They will con you into a "bundle" and not tell you it's a contract even if you ask. It took me 2 months to get my refund. They "credited" to my account for future purchases. I told them to shove their future purchases. HORRIBLE. 0/10. Do not recommend at all. read more

I requested someone come treat the interior of my home for fleas and paid $215.44 to initiate a continuing pest control service. A few days later a technician came when I was not home and without speaking with me allegedly inspected the outside of my home. I received an emailed report of his having observed no pest problems, and several days later an attempt was made to schedule a time when the technician could get inside my home. When no mutually agreeable time was found, I requested my money be refunded for failure to provide the requested service. I was told that since the technician had already been to my house, although not inside my house, I was not entitled to a refund. I requested the matter be escalated to a manager, but I received no follow-up of any kind. read more

I called Terminix because my wife saw a rat in the house. An inspector came by and convinced use to sign up for the termite service as well as he said it would be cheaper that way. They came 2 days later dug holes and inserted the termite baits but cut my fiber optic line in the process. The guy who cut the wire was very non chalant about it and said this always happens and started to make jokes about it. It has now been 2 weeks of calling and no one has yet to come by for the rat. Horrible service. Even worst customer service. When I tried to get a refund they insisted I did get service due to them installing the termite baits I didnt even need. I wouldn't recommend to my worst enemy. read more

Terminix - Cut fiber optic line - Pest Control Near Me - Richland, Mississippi

I was a customer with Terminix in Vickburg, MS for over 3 years. I had a Termite Bond, Termite bait stations and pest control services through the company. I moved out of state and put my house up for sale. When I had a contract I needed to get a Termite Letter/Wood destroying insect report (WDIR). I called Terminix as that is who I had all my services through. Over the phone I was quoted a range of $100 to $150 or this inspection. They said the exact price would be given to me by the inspector before performing inspection. The day of the inspection the inspector never called me before inspection. He did call me after the inspection to try and upsell me on getting pest control. I explained I was closing on the house in 2 weeks so wasn't going to pay for pest control for the new owners. He said he understood and we ended the call. Within the next day or I received what I thought was the WDIR via email (with a note saying here is the document you requested) with a bill for $327. I forwarded the WDIR to the closing attorney and I called Terminix to find out why I was charged twice the amount of the high end of the quotes range. The local number went to a call center and not the local branch. I was told they shouldn't have quoted me anything and that the inspector would have called me with the amount before he started the inspection. I explained that not only was I quoted over the phone but I never got a call with an amount. I only found the amount out when I received the bill. The call center reached out to inspector and was able to get him patched in to the call. He also explained that I shouldnt have been quoted over the phone. I asked why he didn't call me with the price because I wouldn't have approved it as I know in the area $150 or less is the going rate. He said well that's what we charge. I ended the call planning on reaching out to the branch manager to discuss the situation. I did reach out a few time to terminix and they said they would have branch manager call me but he never did. I also checked my account on their website and the WDIR service was not showing up on my account. The day before closing I received a call that the document given by Terminix was not the WDIR as required by state law in order to close but rather some in house Terminix document. I called Terminix again to request the actual WDIR that was required. After being on hold for 20-25 minutes I was told I never received it because I hadn't paid the WDIR fee. I explained I had been waiting for 2 weeks and had requested to talk to the branch manager multiple times. At that point I told the lady from the call center, "I'll pay the full amount and get screwed out of $180 if you can get the document I need by the end of today so we can close tomorrow." She put me on hold and called the branch manager. When she came back she said the branch manager said they would not provide the WDIR I requested at all because I had a concern about the pricing. I asked even though I said I would pay full price and was told that I needed to find another company. This was at 4:00 PM the day before closing. This is beyond unprofessional, and I am sure the branch manager did this the day before closing because he didn't like that I had a concern. The man had never even spoken to me. I was a relatively happy customer for over 3 years and had never complained. I would recommend staying clear of this company for this reason. I will never do business with Terminix again. As a side note I called a local small pest company explain the situation and he worked late and got my WDIR right out to me. He didn't want to see my closing delayed and get this charged $135 for it. I paid him an extra $50 for being kind enough to bail me out of the situation I was in. read more

I have been trying to schedule a service for 4 weeks now. I have reported my issues and cannot get a person to service our home from Terminix. I am not recommending this service. read more

I had terminix come and spray for bugs. I don't have many but had some sweet ants and silverfish and some spiders. They initially came out and the guy didn't really spray much and wasn't there that long then left. For the next month I had the same amount of bugs it was like nothing was done at all. For $200.00 you would expect a little more. I called them because their policy is if you still have bugs they will come out for free and service. They agreed to come back out and service for free. They came back out and serviced and then charged my credit card without my permission. I called them and told them they charged me and they said they would credit my acct. they did not and I had to call 3 times and every time they would say they would definitely credit my acct. then they don't. I had to get in touch with my credit card company and dispute the charge. Horrible services including office. read more

After being a Terminex customer for many years, we trusted them. We paid for Terminex's exclusion service. It costs $$$$ to have this service completed. However, we thought we were dealing with a trusted partner. For the last 3 years, it has been a complete NIGHTMARE! Including damage to our roof. And more money to another service provider to actually fix the problem. I could not recommend their service to anyone!!!! read more

The technician that serves my home is respectful, professional, and well educated on their products. It is always a pleasure to see him.

Excellent Warranty and Repair Bond! I would recommend that anyone who finds termites pay the little bit extra when their house is treated and get a contract with a repair bond. In Mississippi its not if you will get termites but when you will get termites. The damage can be expensive and my repair bond is taking care of it for me. Thanks Terminix!! read more
