Today, I am not satisfied with their service. They have come twice to spray inside my house for bugs, but I did not want the service on the second occasion. On the second occasion, I wanted treatment for mosquitos. The sprayer told me that I had to arrange that service separately. I contacted the company that was/is their business partner approximately six weeks ago, but no one ever responded to my request. I have concluded that they are "good" in name only, not in service. read more

The West Monroe, Louisiana Terminix field office is a complete joke. I have reached out numerous times regarding a mice treatment I paid $160 for, and the service was never completed. Technician Cody Evans showed up, sprayed my house for insects instead of addressing the mice issue, then told me he would return to place bait traps. He never came back. I repeatedly contacted the lead supervisor, Paul Gunby, and received no response whatsoever. I then escalated the issue to the corporate office requesting a full refund, and I am still waiting to hear from the local general manager. What's especially telling is that before my money was paid, I was able to reach both the supervisor and the technician. Once payment was made, all communication stopped. Calls to the local office now go unanswered. This office has zero accountability, terrible communication, and no problem taking money without providing services. I feel completely taken advantage of. Do not trust the West Monroe field office with your money. read more

As a few others have said..if i could give negative stars I would. We had terminex take care of our home when we first bought it 15+ years ago. We had a termite contract with them. A month ago we needed to replace the columns and railing on our front porch. We found termite damage in the one column. We called terminex and were informed we had requested the termite clause be removed in 2016 and only wanted outdoor pest control. We did not do that. We called another company that had come highly recommended by several of our friends. After their inspection we were told that no pest control had been done. Luckily for us there was no termite damage to the house. The damage we did find was old. We had been paying terminex for nothing. We were lied to about canceling our contract and lied to about the pest control being done. read more

Annual inspection Technician, Victor Jones showed up yesterday, 9/5/2024 no one contacted us about an appointment. He says tech must have given wrong number. However, when he attempted the text message he never confirmed if he had actually contacted the correct person. I then had to call the office to reschedule as no one was home. When i called they had all the correct information. Reschedule between 8-10 the next day, 9/6/2024. After waiting for almost, 2 hrs, I called at 9:45. He states he forgot. Unacceptable, because here we are again. This was not only an inconvenience, but inconsiderate as well that my time eas taken up. Not even a courtesy call. I have attempted to contact him as well as Terminix because I have not received my report. Again no communication. They don't have a Google review and I see why because they probably have so many complaints that they don't want public. I don't think I'll be renewing a contract. Extended Technician lied on report regarding time. Was not thorough. Inspected in approximately 5 minutes. Dissatisfied with customer service as no one has yet to contact me or issue report. September 6th was not a service call. It was an annual inspection. I'm extremely dissatisfaction and disappointed with the overall service and I will express it to every readable site I may issue a review on. read more

Do NOT use this company. There were so many problems with the lack of communication, false termite inspection reports, and delays or just no-shows for inspections. I was checking into changing services but I was told that they do not refund for the months remaining on the contract after service is cancelled at a location. Not only would they not refund for the 6 months remaining on the contract, they do not transfer the coverage to the new owners if you sell the property. read more

I called and schedule an appointment for 6-12-2023 at 8am they even sent me a confirmation email saying 6-12-2023 at 8am. I take off work to let them inside and they never showed never sent an email phone call or text. I called them and ask them where is the technician and they said oh it looks like your appointment has been rescheduled to tomorrow WTF. DO NOT use this company!! Very unprofessional!! read more

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!! Now, with that out of the way, the biggest reason is their termite bonds are NOT transferrable when you sell your house. That is far from the only reason I wish we could give negative stars. I just got through learning the hard way that they do not do this. In addition, when you call their customer "service" line, be prepared to be lied to. Every time I called, I got a different answer. When I pressed for a resolution, they said they forwarded the problem to the local office. Sending a request to that office is akin to burning the paper it is on. They WILL NOT respond. They WILL NOT take your call. Which leads me to the finale: THEY DO NOT CARE!! I had to file a complaint against them with the Better Business Bureau in which they filled their response with disingenuous statements. Please, for the love of your sanity and well-being, go somewhere else. I would recommend anyone over this company. If you do have them, please, please go to another company. I would honestly give this company negative stars, if I could. It is August 5, 2019, and I am still waiting on a quote from an initial call in NOVEMBER. We were trying to set up a quote back then, and the Terminix inspector, Gerald, came to the location on 11/20/18. We were supposed to receive a quote that day, but no such luck. Because the property was still undergoing renovations at that time, it wasn't an immediate need, so we waited until the reno was complete. In July, I called to set up another appointment. Jamarius came to the location a couple of weeks ago, and we - again - were supposed to receive a quote that day. I called a few days later to inquire about the quote, and got absolutely nowhere as there wasn't even a quote in the system. I called again on August 1, 2019, and the only helpful person I've spoken with so far, emailed me the quote that we never received in November. Meanwhile, we met Arrow out there at 9:00 am on another day, and had a quote emailed to us by 10:30 am the same day. I called again today, and went through the recording to speak to someone at corporate AGAIN, and was finally transferred to Travis at the local office, who claimed to be the manager. He sounded completely nonplussed and non-apologetic when I explained the problem I had, and that I was still waiting on the quote from an initial call in November. His excuse was the Jamarius was on vacation, so he couldn't really do anything for me. He said that he left me a voicemail last week (untrue) and that he was unable to pull up our information, because he would have to "X out of what I am doing to get to the database, which would take a few minutes to access." I let him know that I had no problem holding, and asked him to look up our account. He then claimed that he again "would have to X out of what I am doing, and there is no way to save it." This sounds like complete BS. I work with databases all the time, and there is almost always a way to save a draft of what you are working on at the time. Travis said he would have Jamarius call me, which he did, and then he gave the excuse that he was out of town for a death in the family, not on vacation as Travis had claimed. This is pure insanity. Outlandishly frustrating and infuriating insanity. What is wrong with that company that they can't respond to you for nine months? How do they even stay in business?? I would strongly advise against anyone trying to use Terminix for anything, unless you like inaction and excuses. If you need quick and responsive service, I would advise you to call Arrow Exterminators. They have been amazingly helpful and quick to respond. Terminix is a joke. Please don't attempt to give this company your business, as they are clearly not interested in receiving your money or providing you with anything close to what could be called "service." read more

Look at the previous review, some things never change. Never showed, never called to say they weren't coming, just wasted my time completely. Go ahead and call if it's anything other than setting up a new account you'll just end up on hold for hours on end. File a complaint on the website and you'll never hear a word from them. They charge you several hundred a year and can't even manage to do the home inspections so you're really paying for absolutely nothing. How does a company stay in business when they make not only one appointment, and having failed to show up on the first, make a second only to once again fail to show up!!! No phone call or text. Spent 3 hours commuting, 1 1/2 hours of phone minutes, 5 hours waiting. No call!!! Do business with them at your own risk. read more

Unfortunately you must give at least one star to rate a business on Yelp. This Terminix office lacks integrity and customer service. We own a house in Mobile that is about to go into escrow. I had been renting out the house for the last four years, and as we were cleaning up the house to put it on the market, we discovered we had a problem with mice. I went through the house and mesh covered all the holes from the crawl space that I could find. Because I wasn't winning the battle, I called Terminix to help, as we already had a contract with them for termite control. A tech showed up and told us about the "exclusion" work that supposedly helps to block all visible entrances from the crawl space to the house. Sounded like a feasible service. So we paid $700 upfront for the service, as we were required to pay upfront. Supposedly the service was done, however, I couldn't get any documentation that it was done. I contacted the local person and was told he would send it. Nope. I texted him to remind him. No luck. Then began my weeks of calling Terminix only to be shuffled around to folks who promised to resolve the issue. From the local office to the Branch Manager, Regional Manager, to calling corporate, we've been ignored. Finally I was transferred to a fellow outside of the region to our house, he sent me the documentation, and lo and behold, for $700 they merely installed mesh wire over the already crawl space vents, a mere fraction of what we were told they would do. Because we live across the country from the location of the house, I had to ask the buyer to see the work in person and send me pictures. Only 10 of the 11 vents were covered, and next to the wire mesh laying on the ground (the 11th vent cover?) is a gaping hole large enough for a squirrel to get into the crawl space. Armed with these pics, I sent another email to the Regional Manager...crickets. There's plenty more to this nightmare, but I have my own company to run. One more thing, however, I was told by several Terminix representatives that we could transfer the remainder of our termite contract to the new buyer. Not true, according to corporate. The buyer attempted several times to arrange an inspection (required by the lender) to no avail. So the buyer has decided to get service from someone else. Not even the Real Estate agents in this area will recommend Terminix. Check out the BBB. My story is apparently common. read more

They don't even deserve one star. They installed termite prevention treatment tubes all over our yard without our consent. I had told consultant we would get quotes elsewhere. 23 days have passed and they have not removed them. I have received a bill in the mail saying we owe money for treatment, and they ran my credit without my consent. I have made numerous complaints with the corporate and local offices. Every time I ask to speak to a manager or supervisor and they send me to voicemail or send an email on my behalf. I have said numerous times I want the bill voided and I want the tubes removed TODAY and each day passes without them doing either. STAY AWAY from this company!!! read more

If I could give -5 stars I would, not only did they fail to show up for scheduled pest control once, but twice, management was supposed to call me yesterday (May 18th 2017), never heard from them. I guess they can simply afford to lose customers. read more
