DO NOT USE THEM!! They were supposed to come take care of our mouse/rat problem and did nothing to help. They left glue traps and poison and said they would come back to clean up the mess. They did not come back. We had to deal with the mice stuck on glue boards! They are totally unprofessional and don't do what they say they will! We still have a problem that is only getting worse! We have tried to fix it on our own, but with no success!! We are calling another company today and hopefully they know what they are doing! DO NOT USE!!! Hired them to get rid of a bee hive and prepaid $800. Paid extra to have two technicians come for safety reasons. Only one showed up and refused to do the job because they needed a second person to do it safely. Very disappointed as we are worried for our neighborhood because multiple people have already been stung. INCOMPETENCE. My entire life is now dependent on the whims of whenever the Terminix man decides he wants to show up. If you schedule, don't expect them to show up, especially if it's a technician in Corpus Christi named "Christopher." My wife and I have been baited and switched multiple times now. Tell them you need a service any time during the week, but no weekends? They'll schedule you on a Saturday and then get disappointed in YOU that you need to reschedule. Have "Christopher" tell you that he can fit you in between 1-5? He'll bait and switch you and then leave. Probably the single most incompetent company I have ever encountered. read more

Horrific experience. Cannot stress enough to stay away from these people. Patrick Cerny was the salesperson. He was nice but made me believe after the initial sum of money I paid there would be monthly payments but never said I would have been paying over 3500.00. I would have freaked out and said hell no!!!! He never ever mentioned that in total I would be paying over $3500.00 to Terminix. I am a single mom and teacher and have no idea how I am going to pay for this crazy amout. Michael McDonald came to treat my house. HE FORGOT TO TREAT THE ENTIRE INSIDE. (Only reason I know is because ABC came for another consultation the next day ). Michael came back another day and said he JUST FORGOT. WHAT THE HELL. So between the doubling of the amount I am now paying and Michael almost letting my House fall down for forgetting 1/2 of the treatment, I am beyond disappointed and feel like I got had by a NOT REPUTABLE company for both the sneaky fees and treatment. DO NOT TRUST THESE FOLKS. Like sleazy car salespersons. Go with ABC for everything! Not only were they much more honest, they have great employees...that don't FORGET 1/2 of the treatment you are paying insanely for. I have used them for Plumbing , HVAC and have been THRILLED. Absolutely awful experience, massively unprofessional behavior. After they rescheduled our appointment multiple times we received a call with less than two hours notice they would be arriving for an in-depth service which requires moving EVERYTHING out of the kitchen area. I sprang into action, disregarded my days plans and made it happen, covering every available spot in my home with pots, pans, and seasonings only to find the tech, Christopher, has stopped answering his phone & is MIA. The office administration could not contact him, and after they contacted the main Terminex office, found he had gone completely silent on them as well. Now it is 8:30 pm, my kitchen is scattered around my home, I can't sleep in my bed which is covered in my glassware, and there is no information on when we will be attended to. They called and asked for us to make a huge accommodation for THEIR schedule then completely ghosted. Endlessly frustrating experience. 0/10 read more

The inspector came out to give me a quote, then called to say they would not treat the yard bc it was within 30 feet of the water. I know 2 neighbors with identical lots they do treat! The inspector also said on his phone call message to call if I had any questions. I did call, left a message and he never called me back! read more

The GM Don passes off what he considers tough customers. I was lied to about what was needed for services and waited moths for them to fix the problem and so haven't found any kind of solution. I have reached out multiple times and have been fighting with them since just after Thanksgiving. DO NOT TRUST THEM AT THIS LOCATION. GUARANTEES ARE REALAND THEY DONT CARE ABOUT THE CUSTOMER. I was told that they needed harnesses to be able to exclude the second story to my home but 4 months after the initial exclusion the GM and a technician were able to do it by latter. read more

Hugh D I have participated in the mosquito service for two years. The first year was satisfactory. However, the second year we were billed twice for service we did not receive. The service was not always effective and I had to spray my own mosquito treatment. I do not recommend Terminix to any customer. read more

This is my first review on yelp because I don't usually have terrible experiences. But using Terminex in Corpus Christi, TX has been a disaster. The sales rep came and did a very good job selling us the works because we were willing to pay to protect our house and the products and service sounded great and well worth the investment. Then the service crew came and did a terrible job...and some of our personal belongings went missing!!! The spraying for bugs was fine, but the rodent service is just the worst. They sprayed foam to patch openings into the garage and the attic and it was a mess and very random; not a thorough job. They put up mesh wire over the open space between garage and attic...again a mess and very poorly done. Then they put some kind of foam product into our gutters. It has been a matter of months and that stuff is all rotted. The worst part of this experience has been the lack of communication at the local level. It's difficult to get someone to return a call. We've set up return appointments (part of the 100% money back guarantee) and nobody shows up. We've called the national call center and they've cancelled the rest of our service, but still we can't talk to anyone to either fix the problem or give us our money back. I would strongly recommend going with another service in the Corpus Christi area. Again, I rarely give bad reviews online, but this has been a terrible experience and it's not over yet!!!! read more

WAS a loyal Terminex customer for over 24 years but finally reached out breaking point when we asked for estimate for rodent protection. We agreed on price and even set a date. That was on the 23rd of Dec. apparently there was an issue the tech. made a false claim of being able to do job for the price agreed upon. Seems manager wanted to charge us four times more even though our house didn't need the work they wanted to do. I never heard a word back from anyone at Terminex to let me know the job wouldn't be done. I constantly had scheduling issues with them. We do not recommend using them. read more

We started out with a local service that was bought out by Terminex. When it was a local service I could call and have re-visits, I could schedule treatments around my schedule,and the same exterminator came out every time. With Terminex a nameless person in I don't know where schedules an appointment for whenever they want and it is incredibly frustrating to change that appointment. I am now going to go through the arduous task of canceling my service with Terminex. This is my first review on Yelp as well and I am so disgusted with the service I have received from this national company with faceless representatives that I have to give them a thumbs down. read more

Thete is not a rating low enough for terminix, had to say one star when it should be zero. These people are terrible,i have called the call center 3x and nobody calls back. Service manager in corpus christi, never returns phone calls. I have been with terminix for almost a year, very poor service as the do not control ant pests, i can do the same from cemicals from amazon and do it at 1/2the cost, and it would be done right! Was extremely disappointed. I called because of rodants and they sent an inspector who spent almost 2 hours "inspecting" the house. Of course it was just to sell me more expensive products from them. The tech finally came. I asked what he was going to do and he said just lay sticky boards down. I did that myself already! He also didn't go through the attic and place then he just opened the door and threw 4 out right there. I asked about the bait blocks and he said he didn't have any with him. Didn't even offer to send someone out with some later. He then sprayed around the house for bugs. Now mind you it was drizzling that day and rained later so anything he sprayed washed away. I called about a specific problem and I got everything but that problem solved. And then they over charged me almost $30 over the quote. I have called and complained and no one has bothered to call me back about any of my concerns. I will not use them nor will I ever recommend them to anyone ever. On the bright side rodents don't like peppermint oil. Soak cotton balls in it and then just throw them around the attic. Much cheaper solution that actually worked. read more

The local (Corpus Christi) office is not at fault. However the Denver area office is the worst. Should you choose this office i will warn you that you can count on them going blank should you encounter any problems. They have owed us money now for 2 years and after many calls to corporate, local, and all the extensions available to us there still has been no communication as well as any explanations. read more

Today is the second time this company has "no-showed" for a scheduled inspection. We are going somewhere else.

Terminix tried to trick me into canceling my policy and voiding my warranty coverage, when I refused they canceled my policy anyway. My house has been covered by the Terminix subterranean termite policy, since the spring of 2010. In the fall of 2016, when subterranean termites were found a few feet away from my front door on the front porch, I called Terminix for a treatment. Terminix told me, that due to the fact my house is on the water, they can't do any external termite treatments. I was shocked, so I asked if they had ever done any external preventative treatments during the years since 2010 while I was paying for their service. Their answer was that they hadn't because they were prevented by law from treating the outside of my house due to water being nearby. I was present during every visit Terminix made to my house since my policy started, so I know for a fact they never performed any treatment on the inside of my house either. So for all those years Terminix had never performed a treatment either inside or outside my house, I was shocked. Then I asked whether they intended to just wait until the termites got inside my house, and then they would be stuck with a major repair bill. There was quite a bit of back and forth with them for many days about this issue, on whether they would do any treatment outside my house. Finally they said they would come out and place some bait sticks around my house. The day they showed up to place bait sticks around my house, the first thing they did is place a document in front of me to sign. This was a big read flag to me, so I read the first page. Upon reading, I told them that I would never sign the document, since it would cancel my current policy providing for termite damage repairs, but that I still wanted the bait sticks. The document they insisted that I sign, was a conversion document from the policy I had with termite damage repair coverage, to one that didn't provide any damage repair coverage just external bait sticks. I was shocked that they tried trick me into signing away my warranty coverage, after termites had already been found outside my house. They didn't explain what I was being pressured to sign, they just told me to sign it immediately or the bait sticks wouldn't be deployed. When I refused to sign away my warranty rights, they refused to place bait sticks out, and simply left. Move forward to July 19, 2017 when I discovered Termites inside my house next to my front door, so thinking that I was covered by a Terminix policy, I call Terminix for service. They said that my policy had been "converted" in November of 2016. So I asked what it was "converted" to, and by whom. They said it was simply "converted" to nothing. So my policy & warranty was canceled in November of 2016 without any notice simply because I refused to voluntarily sign away my warranty. No notice was ever sent by mail, email or phone indicating that my coverage had been canceled. So bottom line is that after termites were found just outside my front door, Terminix attempted to trick me into signing a document which would've voided my warranty. When deception didn't work, they simply canceled my policy & warranty without notice. Now the termites are in my house, and Terminix only says my policy was canceled by them last November. read more

So upset with Terminix! Our first visit was in February. We didn't notice a difference. We tried to call to set up services but could never get through. We were always on hold for long periods at a time and would give up because I have other things to do like our many dr appointments between myself and my mother who I take care of and is on dialysis. they called us in April for never receiving payment. Why wouldn't they have called in February to let us know the payment didn't go through, why wait till April?!? Anyways we Took care of it and also scheduled for April 14th. Took everything out of my cabinets and drawers per their request to get the most out of their service. The technician never showed! I called and the customer service and she said the technician (Jose) took it upon himself to reschedule the service to the April 20th without notifying us and that he was gone for the day! I asked for another technician to come out and she said "he's the only technician ma'am" what?!! How can he be the only technician in all of Corpus Christi?!? Regardless that was not going to work, I will be in the hospital having my baby April 20th, I needed it done on the 14th. A day where my husband would be home to help me get everything ready and take care of everything after services! I also have a baby room I still need to set up but didn't do yet because I was waiting for their service. They expect me to wait an entire week with my house torn apart. The rep I spoke to on Saturday ensured me the branch manager would call me Monday April 16th, and said someone will be out Monday! Still haven't heard from anyone. Called again spoke to 2 different reps and they're were no help. One rep said they have nothing available before the 20th, explained to her that it won't work. She tried calling the branch manager still nothing. Sent email or left messages. Nothing. She transferred me to another rep cause I told her "she tried her best but I'm just going to need my money back so I can call another pest control company " so she transferred me to another rep to cancel my contract. She refused to give me a refund, and argued with me unprofessionally about services and said for me to wait till someone calls me today to get them out because she left messages for both managers. This has been the worse experience ever! For the $102 I paid I could have spent it on pesticides and some everything myself! read more

Terminate your Terminix service! Like the person below said, you can NEVER reach anyone on the phone at the local office, it's pathetic. I don't think anyone in the local office cares, & I've only been able to talk to someone in a call center. I have had 4 different techs in the course of one year for my pest control service. I really liked one of my techs, but he even told me they are a terrible company to work for, pay him very little and demand him to work long hours with no overtime once he was switched to commission pay. No surprise, he quit and now I have another new guy. Apparently they cant keep employees, and I highly doubt some of the new guys I've encountered are competently trained to do the job. They also show up without notice, and only perform service on the outside if you are not there. One of my neighbors paid over a $1000 for the Exclusion job and like the person below said, they just sprayed an ugly black foam in some of the cracks around the house. He wasn't happy with the job and was still having rat problems, but could never reach anyone on the phone to resolve the problem. Glad i didn't waste my money on that! I'm in the process of cancelling my service now. In my opinion, you'd be better off using another company or going to Home Depot or Walmart to buy your own bug spray, fire ant poison, rat traps, etc... and Foam. You will save tons of money and sleep in peace knowing the job was done correctly. I suggest you read some reviews on this website!
