I have been a Terminix customer for many years. the pest control guys seem fine and usually respond to any issues, but recently I had an issue with the annual termite service. I tried to contact the manager about it. I was charged for a service that I did not receive. I have called the contact number numerous times and I was told each time that they would leave a message and the manager would call me but I have never received a callback. **AWFUL EXPERIENCE** Should have read the reviews... My first service the tech did not show, then I received an invoice saying that he was here for 18 minutes treating the home. I have security cameras and a gate lock, and so that was not true. I called Terminix and they said "the gate was locked" so he couldn't do the treatment. So why did they send me an invoice saying the work was done?!? The tech then returned stating that he "treated the wrong home" and would do mine now. He went to his truck grabbed a bucket and sprinkled some granules on my flowerbeds and got in his truck and drove away. He spent less than 5 mins at my home (verified by security camera). He did not go into the backyard, offer to spray the inside, or even tell me he was finished. I've placed over 10 calls to Terminix to dispute the charges, and they refuse to remove the charges from my account for the 3 minutes of service I received at my home. I called Kellco Pest and Termite in Hapeville and they were responsive and came on time and treated inside and out, and sat down with me after the service to go over everything they did. read more

Terminix Is awful zero customer service. Very rude. I hired Terminix in October 2023 to treat bed bugs. Tech Blalock Phillip came to my home and put soiled bedbug encasements on my mattresses. I have called several times to get someone to help me solve this issue since Oct. I should have had 6 months of treatment they only done one treatment. Now they saying that I only have 3 more months of treatment because I have lost the months that the Tech brought soiled bedbugs encasments on all three bedrooms. They are horrible very unprofessional very unsanitized the franchise is horrible. Allen Payne the manager is very unprofessional I called him and told him about the tech. He came to my home to see the soiled bedbug sheets. As a manager he never was apologetic never brought bedbugs back to home he asked me if he could come out to my home and see the soiled bedbug sheet. Don't uses Terminix. And after he came out to my home that location blocked my number. I sent Allen pictures of the soiled bedbug sheets. I can't believe a large company like this would treat anybody like this. This review applies to not just this location but the entire corporate including their senior customer service crew. Their practice is scam disguised with inefficiency. I originally made an appointment with them because they take service orders for 24 hours a day. I was traveling and due to the time difference, I went for the convenience. The convenience STOPS at just making the service order. Their mosquito treatment was not effective and I called to stop the monthly service. They still kept coming out to treat and sending me bills. We decided to try terminix for our ant problem this year, we had do many issues with this company it's not funny. My husband called and set an appointment for a pest control technician to come out, it gave us a time frame, after the time frame lapsed we called and were told that the technician was running behind and was 10-15 minutes out from our house, after and hour passed we called back and customer support called the tech, he didn't answer and we were told he'd call us back. After another hour passed we called yet again, and were told after waiting and wasting our entire day that we had been rescheduled to tomorrow, and no one reached out no call/email/text nothing to let us know we had been rescheduled. Then the tech said he was over an hour away and tomorrow would be the only time he could make it. After we wasted all day waiting and calling customer support, we told him no and that we would be calling Orkin. Unprofessional and no service what so ever. A tech came out and gave me a quote of $108 so that's what I was expecting. However, when I checked my bank account they charged $321! No one called to inform me of the charges. Had i known that, i wouldn't have continued the services. I called customer service Monday night and was told that they will submit a refund request to the correct dept and the branch manager will contact me in 24-48 hours. It's Friday and no one has reached out to me. At this point i will be cancelling this service. Bad business. read more

Mel Rooker was our sales representative, and we have dealt with nothing but false promises, upsells, general pushiness, and a failure to accomplish basic tasks such as giving us a clear window of service to schedule around. Once we called the actual pest controller and customer service, it became very clear that Mel had not been in communication with anyone he told us he had contacted, and actually had no authority to make the promises and statements he gave us. It's incredible that someone can be so bad at sales they have to resort to lying and manipulation. Use another service if you value your own time. read more

I am very disappointed in Terminix ! I started a new service for my elderly parents , my mother is handicap and disable and my father is in the hospital critical ill. I am trying to get their house together if he is able to come home . A tech by the name of Derrick called me because he had the wrong address he found the correct address. In the mean time while sitting in their drive way with me on the phone he tried to get more money for the services without going into the home to inspect. I was quoted a $89 first time fee and $89 every three months with revisits in between when starting the agreement. I refused to pay what he was asking for $150 to $350 . He became angry as he spoke . I told him my parents situation and for him to do what I am paying for and if anything different after the inspection for him to call me. I did not receive a call so I thought the services were done. I called termininix to complain because of his poor customer service skills and because he is asking for money that was not agreed on. After taking items out of the cabinets per instructions of phone rep. my mother called me asking why and when will the tech come because it is hard to get around in a wheel chair with the items on the floor so it would be easy for the tech to do his job. I called Terminix customer service explained everything to her and asking for the main office number , she sent a message for his manager to call me. No call I called again on Saturday. I was told the service was canceled and no notes were added by the tech why he did not complete the job after going to the home. The tech did mention to me they will call back for more services in between and he could not do it for the amount I agreed to. Remember he NEVER went into the house. * Per Terminix website and I use them for my home "we'll do whatever it takes to solve your pest problem, including coming back at no cost, until pest are gone. If you're not 100% satisfied , we'll give you your money back" They need to live up to it and do away with the ones who are giving them a bad name. I see so many people who are not satisfied . Poor quality of job and inadequate customer service. I scheduled a termite plan to be installed. The service man drilled a three inch hole in my wall which was bigger than the plug. He said, "he hit something" and "could not fix it". He also disposed of his shoe covers in my neighbor's yard after finishing the job. I called my sales man who was extremely helpful to schedule another contractor to come out to the house to finish the job and repair the hole. They sent the same initial service man who said, "he didn't know what needed to be fixed." The contractor never showed to patch the wall. Despite calling the local and national office numerous times I have not received a phone call back. It has been over two weeks since the initial termite plan was scheduled to be completed. I am appalled at the professionalism and customer service of a nationwide company. read more

This company has the worst customer service I have ever dealt with I waited 3 times for 2 hours each time and no one showed up . when I had someone finally show up they were not here to do extermination they came to write a pricey quote on termite services and when I asked for an exterminator to service my house needs they rescheduled and once again they did not show up . After They rescheduled a fourth time someone called me to say I would have appointment next morning at 8 am when they arrived they did not bring the right tools to do job and called their office to let them know they were unprepared and had to leave to another customer that was on their schedule so 5 visits later and I still don't have service . It is impossible to directly contact this location the call center actually is misinformed and lied about what service would be included in a contract ( the termite inspector told me I was misinformed by the call center ) basically this is a corporate beast that needs to get shut down. I would give Terminix a below zero rating and not even one star I just have to click one for this review to post . This company is totally unreliable. In the past few weeks I waited for their technicians three times and they never showed up. I called to find out what happened and the customer service ladies couldn't say. Also, I had termite damage and the technician who finally did show up did not mention the fact that the company was supposed to repair the damage under my contract. Very unprofessional. I called to start service and set up a day and time that worked for me. I had a 5-7 appointments set up. I got home at 4:30 to a message on my door at 3:45 saying I missed my appointment. I verified in my email the time I know I selected which was 5-7. The 1800 was very nonchalant and made me feel like I was in the wrong for missing the appointment. Long story short after reading the other reviews. I am grateful to Michelle and/or Corporate getting a response to my concern regarding the millipedes/centipedes coming into my home. On 08/10/16 two managers (Allen and an older gentlemen) came with their new employee (Justin) to my home. They came into the house and I showed them where these things were coming in. They started to do treatment inside but stopped and stated treatment for the problem should be from my crawl space and outside. They went into my crawl space and put some treatment down and outside. The older gentlemen came to me and stated he put down pretty good amount of treatment outside. He stated he felt a great deal of my problem is coming from under the crawl space beneath the kitchen area. They did not put treatment down in this area. He said I had to have a sealed small door area to my crawl space unsealed and they would come back out. I have accessibility to my crawl space via a big door entrance. I paid to have the small access door sealed for safety purposes. You can access my entire crawl space from the entrance they went into but they refused to treat the area underneath my kitchen. They expect me to pay and have someone unseal that small extra entrance which is ridiculous. I pay Terminix for a contract to have my home serviced quarterly and/or when there are issues that exist. I am not getting the service I am paying for. A crawl space is just that. You have to crawl underneath the home to take care of whatever issues exist. This is a service that Terminix offers. I expressed my concerns to others (family/neighbor) and my neighbor instructed me to call Terminix back immediately because he has accessed my entire crawl space via the entrance that is available. He said there is no reason for them to deny treatment underneath the area of my kitchen, except they don't want to crawl under there. I called Terminix back on 8/11/16 and spoke with Pat of the Resolution Department and she documented what I told her and emailed the local office to contact me so they can come back out to perform the treatment in that area. To date (08/27/16) I have not heard back from anyone. I am updating this latest issue hoping the executive (Michelle) who got a response, previously, will get them to do what they should have done on 08/10/16. I have been very patient considering the numerous calls, emails, etc. regarding this issue with Terminix. I need action without further back and forth regarding my service. I will be contacting the Better Business Bureau and Consumer Affairs and requesting a full refund of all monies paid to this company if this issue can't be resolved. I will need this to search for a company that would appreciate having me as a customer and perform the services they state they offer via their contract(s). I will allow the remainder of this week, to see if anything will be done. If not, I will move forward, accordingly. I will keep you guys posted. read more

Inspector was an hour late without calling. Needed additional treatment after a renovation. Had to call for an appointment because inspector did not follow through. Appointment came through as another inspection, so no one showed up. No one called. After three phone calls to Terminix, each with hold times longer than 8 minutes, still have no additional treatment. I am changing termite companies to be sure. read more
