We are more than capable of paying for our own food, and it was incredibly inappropriate and unprofessional for this employee to use a helping hand as an excuse to body-shame my daughter and make derogatory remarks under the guise of religious righteousness. As a family of color, we felt targeted and disrespected. I was appalled by this behavior and urge management to address this hypocrisy and lack of professionalism.

They tend to have better quality items (a good example is in ice cream) and the freshest produce. Their main downfall is their somewhat higher prices in comparison to Consumers and Walmart.

There are some home essentials available for purchase, but this is mainly a food store. They have shopping carts and baskets for convenience. The back of the store looks like there used to be a butcher for fresh meats, but now there isn't one. Some of the store aisles are unorganized and dirty. Most of the workers seem like younger people, and they were playing some game over the intercom system while I was shopping. It wasn't a very professional atmosphere.
