I have had everything on their menu from their breakfast skillet wraps to their soups to their sandwiches and amazing potatoes and everywhere in between. Their house spuds are amazing and loaded with toppings! They have ample seating for that soup and sandwich diner feel. It came with mashed potatoes and of course, gravy, plus a roll. It would be nice if another veggie was offered to off-set a carb heavy meal. My husband ordered the hamburger steak with mashed potatoes, green beans and roll. He later noticed a very tiny sign next to the register advertising pot roast and was a little disappointed he didn't see that first. Pot roast is his favorite. For dessert, he thought he saw coconut creme pie in the cooler but it was lemon meringue which he is not a fan. He settled on the pecan pie cheesecake that we shared. It was a surprisingly great pie. All of our food was great and exceeded our expectations. We would like to come back again so he can try the pot roast and I will order the CFS again. This restaurant definitely has a small town feel where they know their regulars by name. I would recommend it to friends and family.

That customer service-centric attitude allowed her to grow a dedicated customer base, and her business grew. I would think for a small local business, this would be essential as building customer loyalty is essential to your success. If, however, your posted times say open until 6, and you close before that time, and I am at your store ready to buy something, I will give you a bad review every time. I don't care if you're the greatest store ever, if your posted hours say you are open, you should be there. I checked times, and made it to the store with 7 minutes to spare. Sign said closed, employee inside said "we're closed" even when I pointed to my watch showing I had time left, and went back to vacuuming. I could have picked up the one item I wanted to buy while they vacuumed....but no. They could have made a loyal customer for life, instead I won't be back for awhile, and in fact, I'd be justified to take my business elsewhere....shouldn't be a big deal as they apparently don't need my business anyways. I hate to give a business a review like this, because as a concept this is a great store and they have unique and fun items. However, as a customer, I can't buy it if you close early. As a small business, that's your right to close when you want. As a consumer, it's my prerogative to shop elsewhere, and to share my negative experiences.
