He lives there with his wife and children, so he can provide a multitude of information - anything you require. His knowledge on different neighborhoods was invaluable to us. John worked tirelessly for us to find us a piece of property. We are from out of state, so it was no easy feat. He did drive-bys, took photos, returned our numerous phone calls and emails, and helped us sort out what we wanted. He showed us alternatives, and kept us apprised of what the market was doing, provided historical data, and a sense of what the market might look like going forward. My husband and I love John's personality. Knowledgeable, low-key, no pressure. We always felt John was on our side, and never felt that he was put out at all by what we asked of him - which was alot. He's a genuinely nice guy who does a great job for his clients. We finally found the perfect piece of property - just what we wanted - thanks to John. It took a long time, but John was extremely patient with us. You won't find a better realtor. We've bought many homes through the years, and John's the best we've ever worked with. We recommend him highly to anyone who is looking in the Williamsburg area.

He explained current loan programs, and new home purchasing laws that were applicable to our needs. We had actually switched to using him after using an agent who was none of those things--too much 'fluff' and not enough honesty. Take our advice: go with a realtor that knows the market where you want to buy a house and can provide you the attention you need to get the one you want. Jim listened to what we needed and showed a genuine interest in finding our new home- just as we imagined it to be. Jim was always very responsive (no matter what time of day or week), and his customer portal helped us narrow down our options for our scheduled 'shopping trips.' He went above and beyond for us in many ways, specifically when he went in to fix an item on the inspection list for us! Jim definitely knows how to get the job done-- and done right. He made the buying process smooth and closing was on-time (actually a few days early). He has a great sense of humor and such a calming demeanor. And he always stayed neutral, so we never felt like he was 'talking us into' one property to another. You'd be crazy not to go with Jim!
