Anytime I need to go in, they get me worked in to see him or his NP. She is great as well. Their staff is all very friendly. I've never met a doctor that was so in tune with my needs as a person rather than just seeing me as a problem that needed to be fixed.

He takes time to get to know his patients and ass about things going on in their lives or in my case, about the book I was reading in the waiting room. The Nurse Practitioner is also so kind and compassionate. She held my hand the entire time during a difficult procedure I had done in the office with Dr. Summers. She made sure I was comfortable throughout. His office is decorated in an eclectic vintage style reminiscent of the American Pickers TV show store in Nashville. The majority of the exam rooms have a theme. I was in the Marilyn Monroe room for my first visit. The place kind of makes you feel like you're in someone's home rather than a cold, impersonal, clinical setting. I trust Dr. Summers and his team. Everyone from the secretary who answers phones and the nurses who triage patients have been exceptional.

When making this appointment over three weeks ago I was told that they had a cancellation and if I didn't take this appointment I would have to wait until October. I arrived for my appointment at 10:15 a.m. which is fairly standard for most medical practices, and I was told that the CRNP (Dr. Allyson Gilstrap was on leave so I wasn't even going to see a doctor ) could not see me since I was not there at 10:00 a.m. To be fair, it was suggested, not mandated, to be there a half an hour early to fill out paperwork which would have taken maybe 10 minutes. But I was not made aware that if I was not there by 10:00 a.m. on the dot I would not be seen. I should have been told that. They asked me if I could come back at 3:00 p. m. That would not work for me and I said no and walked out. What is the purpose of making an appointment and arriving early just to be turned away for not being there a half an hour early!! Who does that?? I've never heard of such a thing!! And I should have been able to fill the paperwork out online like most medical practices offer now, and not this out-of-date system. I hope that the person/persons running this place rethink their policies because this clearly is not the way to treat new, potential and existing patients. Turning away a new patient for not being a half an hour early for their appointment is very suspect to say the least. I have since spoken to several people that I know in the medical profession and told them of my experience with this practice and they outright told me this is absolutely wrong.

Dr. Moore Jarmon and her staff put my boys at ease during their visit. They were friendly and personable. The doctor even gave the boys goodie bags. My younger son said, "She's a nice lady!" The nursing staff is always friendly and willing to help in anyway they can. The only reason I don't give it all 5 stars is because the parking is kinda tight. If you're looking for a pediatrician I highly recommend Dr. Baxley. She's very patient, personable and thorough. Always willing to answer any questions you have, and she treats her patients as if they were her own children. She is knowledgeable, professional, and someone I have felt confident following medically. However, over the last couple of years, my annual appointments have consistently been with a physician assistant rather than with Dr. Leong. Unfortunately, my experiences with this provider have been disappointing. I have felt talked over during visits, not fully listened to, and at times treated as though my concerns were an inconvenience. I raised these concerns previously and was told I would not have to see this provider again, yet at my most recent visit I was scheduled with her again. The most concerning experience occurred when I became extremely ill. My wife called the office to request medication for nausea and was told that if we did not hear back, we should check the pharmacy. There was no follow-up call and no prescription sent. For a patient of more than two decades, that lack of communication and care felt dismissive and unacceptable. I still have respect for Dr. Leong, but the overall patient experience has declined. Long-term patients deserve to feel heard, respected, and cared for -- especially when acutely ill. I hope the practice and anyone thinking of joining takes this feedback seriously.
