Great doctor for listening but did not do a hands on exam for gym injury (2 months on crutches and…read morea year later still problems). Seemed to dismiss it as significant and that I was too concerned? H did give me ideas of what would help and it did. Not so good with older/midlfe women but made definite gestures of listening by turning chair dropping everything and making eye contact - so unusual in this day and age - kind of charming old way of being "seen". 1 star off mostly because of OM where he has set up shop - totally a bad gig (bureaucratic bottom feed clinic) and do you want all your info to be collected into the large Am data cntrs?

My rating is based on my following, personal experience. I found Dr. Fell by searching on the…read moreInternet and joined One Medical just for him. Called O.M. after joining and made appointment for today, Monday, Dec. 8. On Friday, Dec. 5 late afternoon, just ONE business day before the appt., I get a call from O.M. telling me Dr. Fell's office cancelled my appt. because they do not accept new patients anymore. 1. Why was appt. available and booked if Dr. Fell does not accept new patients anymore? 2. Why notify me end of day on Friday, one business day before the actual appt? 3. Why not having the decency/courtesy to call me directly to let me know? Perhaps Dr. Fell is indeed a good doctor (I did not get a chance to experience), however, given the way HIS office/people handled this matter, makes him a terrible leader. And as we all know, the buck stops with the boss. Disappointing, to say the least.

Dr. Tan Nguyen has 'Great Bedside Manner' and I 'Highly Recommend' anyone seeking a 'new doctor' to…read moregive him a try :-) Even though I hadn't seen Dr. Nguyen since Nov. 2017, he welcomed me as an 'Old Friend' and we had a 'Very Productive Conversation' throughout my Medicare 'Annual Wellness Exam'. He took time to 'address all my concerns' and ordered 'labs' as needed re same. From the first-time having Dr. Nguyen conduct my physical back in 2017, he was 'Very Diligent/Thorough' throughout the process. BTW--Dr. Tan Nguyen's entire nursing-staff is also 'Very Personable', as well as his receptionist 'Andy' :-)

Dr. Tan ordered what he called a "routine" PSA screening because I'm over 50. Routine should mean…read morecovered. Instead, I was billed $100. When I questioned it, his own office admitted it was billed incorrectly, but instead of fixing their mistake, they told me to chase it down myself. It's not the $100 that matters, it's the attitude. If a doctor's office won't take responsibility for something this basic, why would I trust them with my health? I spent the better part of a month trying to fight this charge. Sutter Health, if you're reading this, you've got a real problem. People expect battles with insurance companies. What's worse is when your own provider, the people who are supposed to protect your well-being, treats you like you're the problem. I'll be going back to my old doctor, where I don't have to fight to be treated fairly. Dr. Tan has a near-perfect star rating on Sutter Health. Let's just say it doesn't reflect the reality I experienced.
