I have periodontal disease and have had it for years, so I knew what to expect. I went back last week and had a deep cleaning, on one side, which was done under local anesthesia (shots). Dr Christy has a gentle touch and a very calming demeanor, which helps with someone as nervous as I am in the dentist chair.
