I'm so excited to add this place to Yelp as it should be on every Northern Californian's radar if…read morehe/she is planning a trip. I am currently working with Bernadette, one of the knowledgeable travel agents in the Chico location, to plan an Italy trip for me and my boyfriend. Bernadette worked out a GREAT itinerary for us! All I had to due was tell her where we wanted to go and when our dates were and...presto! We had a trip basically booked. Of course, she would run everything buy me first before booking anything, but Bernadette found us a decently priced flight, great places to stay and awesome things to do! S She even let us use as many credit cards as we needed to divide up the costs! But the best part?!? Her service fee was less than $100!! I'm telling you, if you want some help planning a trip, check this place out. Bernadette made this trip easy, fun to plan, and so much more enjoyable! I haven't had to worry about a thing and I can't wait to experience all the fun we've planned for ourselves!

Saved me an enormous amount of time. She also gave me great general advice on how/where to buy airline tickets which I had to book right away without her help. I would recommend them to anyone looking to take some of the work out of planning a trip.

I took the red eye from Chico to Sacramento to Stockton. The station, though small and no…read moreamenities, was easy to access, close parking, clean, had indoor seating, and seemed safe. I live in Chico full time and know the neighborhoods. This location is on the edge of downtown and borders a heavy college student residential area. The train ride was great, on time, modern & maintained. As it was 4 AM I slept most of the way, probably leaning against the poor guy next to me who was gracious enough to wake me when we reached Sacramento. I reached the architectually beautiful downtown Sacramento station, currently being remodeled and upgraded but with little to no inconvenience to its passengers and guests, a little more rested, and waited for the connecting bus to Stockton with all my carry on belongings still in my possession. The 1.5 hour layover was excruciating because of my lack of sleep, but lots of safe indoor seating, clean restrooms, vending machines, lots of staff and security. The interior of the station is absolutely gorgeous, early California history mural on the wall, vintage light fixtures, there were even old fashioned but functioning heater vents behind the many rows of waiting area seats. Looked like a fair amount of business commuters along with personal travelers. Even if your car has not broken down in the middle of your cross state permanent residential move, I highly recommend taking a train for transportation. It is relaxing, you can get up and move around, most cars have food and a bar (!), it is very inexpensive, there are lots of connecting options, although they do not offer a bus all the way to Sonora anymore, but that is not worth docking a review star. The bus ride was quite different than any previous from my past. Looking and smelling brand spanking new, each firm but cushy seat had its own fold down tray and drink holder, and video monitors were hanging overhead. I envisioned myself a rock star going on tour in my private rolling plush palace, there were only 2 other passengers. Only drawback is that the seats barely reclined making it hard to sleep. The Stockton station is older and in an industrial zone on outskirts of downtown. Lots of different sorts of people milling about, some working, others perhaps at a down point in their lives. Stockton is a busy port town, kinda grimy. The station was older but maintained. I felt safe and was happy to have a warm indoor building with clean working bathroom while waiting for my ride up the hill.

This old facility appeared to still be original, and not modernized - I was unable step off for a few minutes to tell if it was actually open, as it was a drop and pick up location only. There were uniformed security personnel present and visible and the place had several dozen folks waiting to board the train, as well as exit for their final destination, it was very well lit. It was obvious to me that this little station is busy and used daily even at the early morning hour. The Coast Starlight (#11 south & #14 north) runs from Seattle to Los Angeles daily. 00080
