We were greeted immediately. cute inside with a full bar. a few beer handles too! even an IPA was flowing. it was packed. We were immediately served the warmest crispiest nice & salty chips! And the salsa... loved the salsa! I ordered the 1 item with beans and rice. $15.50. Cheese enchilada w/red sauce. The green sauce has pork in it:( our server was friendly and knowledgeable about menu. my friend ordered the carne asada tacos. I enjoyed my dinner. I would not rate the red sauce as my favorite. But it was good. I will definitely go back. also they have about 4 big screen TVs playing. Plenty of parking in back. I can't wait for warmer days as they have a cute little patio in front.

Unfortunately, this trip was a letdown. I ordered the molcajete, which has normally been one of our favorites. This time, though, it was missing a lot of the cheese we've come to expect. The meat was okay, but instead of tasting like a nice cut of steak, it was more like stew meat. The biggest disappointment was the overpowering citrus flavor, which took away from the rest of the dish. My son ordered a bean burrito with salsa verde on the side, but it came poured right over the top instead. The burrito was okay at best. At least the salsa was good! My wife ordered a margarita that tasted more like lime-flavored water than an actual margarita. I had a Dos Equis Lager, and my son had a Dr Pepper. The saving grace of the meal was the service. Our food came out quickly, and we appreciated how attentive the staff was. The chips and salsa were also a decent start to the meal. It's disappointing when a place you've enjoyed for years doesn't live up to your memories. We know Mi Casa can do better because we've experienced it before. Unfortunately, between the underwhelming molcajete, the misplaced salsa verde, and the lackluster margarita, this visit missed the mark. We have been coming here since opening and we have complained a couple times about how oily the food is because it wasn't like that originally, but they do nothing to change it even though we request no oil on the tortilla... Who wants an oil a tortilla? We say grilled it's grilled, but also wet.
