Mount Juliet Granite and Quartz

Mount Juliet Granite and Quartz

We recommend Mount Juliet Granite and Quartz because of the quality of their work, and they take…read morepride in the finished product. We chose Mount Juliet Granite and Quartz for our Townhouse remodeling including kitchen countertop, backsplash, master bath, and second bath. They are a family operation working out of the industrial park area on Lebanon Road behind Enterprise Rent-A-Car Taylor Murcia handled the consulting on quartz selection at a Nashville showroom/warehouse, pricing, templating, and final installation. Freddy the owner handled the fabrication. Handyman and jack-of-all trades Randal Smith handled the plumbing de-install, carpentry, and faucet reconnect. They worked smoothly as a team including extended hours and weekends to get the job done. And cleaned up as they worked. We selected Calacatta River quartz (resembles high-end marble) for the kitchen with a single bowl stainless sink and Gemini non-porous quartz countertops for the baths with undermount porcelain sinks provided by Mount Juliet Granite and Quartz. Tip: Save $$$ and choose 2 cm (vs 3 cm) for bath countertops. See 3 pics

Taylor just completed the granite for our outdoor kitchen, and we couldn't be happier! When we…read morefirst called him for a quote, he was there later that day (which is unheard). Not only was the price very reasonable, but if I had to use one word to describe Taylor, it would be "perfectionist." He was truly concerned that an 11' countertop was going to be less than a 1/2" off from one end to the other. He assured me he could fix it, but after looking at it w/ him, I honestly couldn't see it, and only after breaking out a measuring tape, was I able to see the difference! Also, when the supports were completed (incorrectly) by another vendor, he painstakingly corrected them to ensure it was perfect. Finally, we had a bbq party scheduled for the next day, so he was there well after 11p to finish up and ensure it was "perfect" and it absolutely was! I promise, you will not be disappointed with his service and level perfection for his finished product!

Builder Supply Source

We used Builder Supply Source for our cabinets in a kitchen renovation project we just finished,…read moreand the cabinets turned out great. More than that? The cabinets we ended up with are extra custom. We wanted a more modern kitchen than I expect is very common in Nashville (several cabinetry companies our contractor typically works with could only give us Shaker cabinets, which isn't what we wanted), but Builder Supply Source had flat panel cabinets, which is the modern look we wanted. When they didn't have the exact stain color we wanted, they worked with us to create some samples based on some Pinterest/Houzz pictures I sent over. A few days after I sent the photos over, we had four samples at our house. We really liked three of them, narrowed it down to two, and finally picked one. I really appreciated that they were willing to work with us to get the color just right! We had a few little issues (one small panel of wood came slightly scratched up), but Builder Supply Source took care of everything. We worked with Will, who was great from our first meeting with him (we were in his office for about an hour talking about options and coming up with the best cabinet layout). And - at the end of the project - we're just in love with our cabinets (as well as with the hardware we ordered through Builder Supply Source). They were great to work with and the final product is exactly what we wanted. I don't think we would have ended up with the kitchen we had in our minds if it weren't for Builder Supply Source!

Elizabeth Foster at Builder Supply Source is the best! Our contractor referred us to her in…read moreNovember of 2017 and we now have beautiful cabinets in our kitchen and a bathroom. From the beginning, Elizabeth was helpful and available. Every phone call returned. Every email answered. When we met with Elizabeth at our home, she made something we had been dreading - into a process that we enjoyed being part of. Elizabeth's knowledge of design and details made the process worth every penny. We would do business with Elizabeth Foster again in a heartbeat!

Preservation Station sits on 8th Avenue just south of downtown and is bursting at the seams with…read moreantique architectural furnishings and fittings, so much so that even the parking lot has doors, tubs, sinks, windows, etc...in it! This place is filled from floor to ceiling, no embellishment, with doors, windows, mantels, hardware, door knobs, lights, handles, cabinets and other items. While majority of the items were aged quite a bit, it did appear that they had some new build doors and such if that is what you are after. Honestly, I think 50% of the inventory is doors of some variety, and I wasn't mad it! It is such a cool space to wander around for a bit. We stopped by looking for antique furniture and while they have a few pieces, that is not what this place is about. Even though we didn't find what we were after, it was cool to wander up and down the hallways and through the maze of rooms scoping out the goods...we really loved some of the windows and lights they have hanging around. Some absolutely beautiful, and pricey, finds that I could see absolutely making a space! The staff was pleasant and friendly, she greeted us when we were walking around and again as we were leaving. Overall, I could see the need and popularity of a place like this, especially when it comes to remodeling, replacing or upgrading a space.
