Laughed when my daughter found this place by asking locals. It was Sunday and all the Yelp…read morerecommendations were closed. A veteran in the booth behind us was hearing us discus the unique menu that included many southern favorites and a large variety including frog legs, gator, and calf fries. He apologized for butting in but suggested the fried cat fish because of the large portions given. You better bring a big appetite because he wasn't joking! I ordered the catfish because I eat gluten free and out sweet waitress said everything was hand breaded and cooked from scratch. We saw this in the green beans with bacon bits, real mashed potatoes, slow cooked pinto beans and huge breaded chicken fried steak. We were heading to Tennessee from Texas, so if it works out we will stop again on our way back. Prices were also so reasonable. Hope ya-all check it out...

The meat selection is very good and priced well. They do sell lots of expired and close to expired items discounted, so if you're not willing to buy that kind of stuff, just always check the dates! They have a good little deli that makes take-away and fresh hot food too. They are the only store in town that sells my favorite brand of keto bread too. The cashiers are kind and always remind you how many points you have if you are in the rewards program, which I highly recommend. I generally can get at least 1 item free with points each shopping trip. Today was a bag of shredded cheese I needed! The store is Christian owned, so they only play non-secular music. I'd definitely check it out if you've never shopped there. It's a great choice.
