Dr. Edibam is the worst doctor I've ever seen. He accused me of lying by saying "you're lying"…read moredirectly to my face. Then proceeded to ask me why I'm here if I did not bring a physical CD of my CT SCAN, although I spoke to front desk over the phone and they said to email it and then when I got there to check in, I confirmed again if my imaging was ok and the lady at the front desk said yes. Dr. Edibam said that's not possible that his staff didn't say that and said I'm lying. He then proceeded to yell at me saying there's nothing wrong with me and he can't do anything. Then I explained my symptoms and he said everyone else has the same symptoms. He then laughed at me and said "you were born this way, what do you want me to do?" And I started crying and looked to the medical assistant who was a young female who looked away while standing behind me. I asked her why she is letting the doctor speak to me this way and asked if she was a woman also. She proceeded to leave the room and block the door. I felt very unsafe and he charged me for the visit anyways and when I called to take it off the lady at the front desk said no. Please do not go here. Especially if you're a young female. I'm a young back women and I'm not sure if that's why he was triggered and bullied me as a doctor in the visit. If you are going to go, being your parents or someone Who is able to oversee and step up for you. I reported Dr. Edibam to the state medical board and submitted an investigation with my dental insurance. I don't wish for anyone else to go through this, especially if it was bias or racist.

I am so thankful to Dr. Edibam for his expert diagnostic ability and for his surgery skills. I have…read morebeen fortunate to have been a patient of Dr. Edibam for the past year. I have always been very insecure about my front teeth and my smile. I had a complete redo of my smile, including multiple tooth extractions and implants with Dr. Edibam. He has been so precise, personable and comforting. I was very nervous, yet calm and comfortable with his plan for my new and improved smile. He called my the evening of my surgery to check on my progress, and I had several post check appointments at no extra cost. Working closely with my dentist, he has successfully transformed my smile, my look and my confidence. His staff has also been very kind. This is an office with ovrall positive energy. Worth every penny.

So to be VERY clear! I am NOT a frequent flyer at the dentist office! I've never even had so much…read moreas a cavity in my 30+ years of living! No braces growing up NOTHING! outside of yearly cleanings and X-rays. I'm basically a catholic saint when it comes to teeth. However I was horrified to find out I had to have ALL 4 of my wisdom teeth removed last year during my routine yearly cleanings and x-ray exam with my regular dentist. For YEARS I had a very good dentist who told me "hey if they don't bother you, you don't bother them" type deal with my wisdom teeth. So after seeing a new dentist he told me I had NO CHOICE, but to have them removed because they were pushing against my other teeth and 1 wisdom tooth was already impacted! I was referred to some young hot shot know it all dentist who had all kinds of fancy drone shots of his dental practice in Norwalk plastered all over his website. Well suffice to say Mr. hot shot dentist literally wasted 2 hours of my time, $500.00 dollars in a consultation fee and some fancy over the top additional NOT COVERED by insurance 3D X-ray. He told me there was no way he could remove all 4 of my wisdom teeth he could MAYBE at BEST remove 3 and I would likely experience more pain than I had ever experienced in my life and possible nerve damage in my jaw and face. If I wanted to be put to sleep the extraction would have to be done in A HOSPITAL! because for whatever reason he was afraid to give me anesthesia in his office. On top of a dental bill well OVER $2500 dollars WITH insurance. The guy was a real bozo! I left that dentist office crying, petrified, and confused as to what to do next! A friend referred me to Dr. Sciarrino! He took ONE look at my BASIC covered by insurance X-rays shrugged his shoulders and said I'll have ALL 4 of these wisdom teeth out in 90 minutes you go home come back in a week I'll take the stitches out and you'll never see me again! Pain? What pain? You see all these medical degrees on my wall! Never mind those! In all his years of practice he's never had someone experience excessive pain or complications from his wisdom teeth removal. As perfect and straight as my teeth are my wisdom teeth were no walk in the park! I had 1 impacted, 1 on its way to being impacted, with nerves going through it. The other two were easy removals. I don't even think Dr. Sciarrino asked me if I wanted to proceed with his services or not he just smiled walked me to the front desk had one of the ladies schedule me in and said see you in a month and by the way get a COVID Test before you come here for surgery because ain't nobody got time for that! I paid my bill in full with the office a week before surgery I was told the cost it would be ahead of time so I planned out my finances accordingly and the cost to Dr. Sciarrino was a little over $1,000 bucks and that was only because of the anesthesia! Most if not all dental insurance plans do not cover anesthesia! I do not like pain or any kind of discomfort. I told Dr. Sciarrino during the surgery prep I wanted whatever the stuff was that Michael Jackson got PLUS TAX! None of that laughing Gas, awake, but not awake, twilight stuff! if I ended up playing checkers with Michael Jackson in the day room of Heaven then so be it I wanted to feel No pain! Dr. Sciarrino removed all my wisdom teeth, sent me home with directions and the basic pain and antibiotic prescriptions! I didn't even take the pain killers. Extra strength Tylenol was more then enough to keep me comfortable I had NO excessive bleeding, NO excessive pain nor discomfort! I went back a week later had the stitches taken out and true to his word I haven't seen him since! The most annoying part of this whole process was I couldn't eat my Sourdough Nibbler Pretzels for 2 months after the surgery while the extraction sites healed. I say all of that to say if you have to beg, borrow, and steal to find the money to see Dr. Sciarrino then you do just that! Dip into your kids college funds, refinance your house whatever you need to do just get to Dr. Sciarrino and do not waste your time or money with any other dentist! It's Dr. Sciarrino or nothing at all!

Patients Beware!!!I had an extensive treatment plan that was over two years, including multiple…read moreextractions. During the final extraction, a devastating mistake was made. When I woke up from anesthesia I discovered the WRONG TOOTH was PULLED. I then had to ask for the proper tooth to be removed. I was lied to about what took place by office staff, and did not see Dr Sciarrino from that point forward on that visit. I was in the state of shock when going back to the office for pain medication and follow ups. Each visit different staff members tried to persuade me that this was part of the treatment plan when it was never documented or discussed. There was no acknowledgment or ownership of the wrong doing. There was an offer made for the additional work that needed to be done at cost. I suffered for four months in severe pain impacting every area of my life. I then had a very difficult time trusting providers after this betrayal. In addition, I've now learned that I was offered, and recommended to have anesthesia at a high out-of-pocket expense by this office when it actually wasn't needed for many of the procedures.
