To demonstrate: you can pick up a lovely little beach dress from around 30 euro at Oh La La's current sale. And these outfits are very nice too, they're not your usual grossly out-of-fashion pieces that rich women sometimes mistake for chic simply because they find them in a boutique store. I was particularly impressed with the Parisian brand Deca, and found several of their pieces that could just find their way into my suitcase for my next beach holiday. Deca's fabrics were amazing... don't take my word for it, go in and see for yourself. The ladies who work in this store are lovely and friendly and not pretentious in the least.

Neither of these things happened, and it wasn't as if I was on a flying visit. There happened to be an amazingly good sale on, so I was having quite the rummage. I was disappointed to find my existence not affirmed in the slightest after say 15 minutes in the store. What, am I invisible?? There were two sales assistants on duty at the time, and the shop is not the biggest one I've ever seen, so there really is no excuse. Or maybe the excuse was the woman in the change rooms at the time? They were extremely attentive towards her, and spent enormous amounts of time and energy fishing around the store for outfits to complement her body shape and the items she'd already selected. I guess she was a regular, or at the very least had the 'ready money' look about her. Maybe next time I'll flash my credit card as I walk in the store. If there is a next time, that is. I very much doubt it.

Lo and behold, I found out they're a part of the same company/brand. How cool!! Same great products, same great prices. They even had a fully operating hair and nail salon inside. I barely had any vacant space in my luggage, but I absolutely had to grab some good deals and exit quickly lol. The store is huge and the various sections are easy to browse. It was also easy to spot employees walking around if you needed to ask for help.

My first introduction to Second Avenue was on a cold spring day a few years back; as we rounded a corner on a closed up shop I wondered if we'd gone too far. A moment later the shop front appeared, blocked in by rows of Land Rovers parked right in front of the shop window. Inside there was quiet as women fanned through beautiful silks and suits hung along the wall racks. At the centre table I fell in love with a black croc clutch that I would end up going back twice to mull over bringing home. The price tag ended the would-be romance.

An absolute overpriced badly run clothes shop! The staff are extremely rude and their returns…read morepolicy leaves a lot to be desired. Apparently it's " legal " whatever about it being in the interest of the customers to refuse to exchange or refund items that have been purchased more than seven days prior to returning the items! Also the shop will only accept items that have been returned by POST ( which the customer has to fork out the postage cost ) they will not accept items that are returned to the shop! After going into the shop today to exchange an expensive Xmas present I was told that the seven days had expired and that no exchange or refund was possible! when asked what I was supposed to do with a cardigan that had cost over €125 that was too small,the extremely rude woman told me " TO REGIFT IT " I have never come across such bad customer service. NEVER AGAIN. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!
