I got to pay for my lnew lawyer to research a case that was already research resulting in double dipping. Should have told me they were not able to help me with the specific needs of my case because medical staff issues and the nuances of the medical field is not what they do and then they will keep you to juice you for billable hours. Not at all happy and I feel like they could care less about me. I was just a dollar sign. If you can hire them on contingency or for a set retainer with % of settlement fine but do not pay out of pocket or they will run up those hours.

He didn't allow me any negotiation room, neither did he make any negotiation efforts himself in the mediation against other party's greedy proposals. Then he rushed to finalize the cr2a within 12 hours in the midnight of the mediation day, by signing on behalf of me when I was sleeping, without my review or consent of the final version of cr2a. He e-signed it within seconds the final version was sent to him by opposing party's attorney. Two years after being retained, he still wasn't familiar with the Case that I had to prepare and draft paperwork myself by collecting/organizing all evidences. He didn't care enough and allowed the cr2a to include additional term in other party's favor which were not brought up in the mediation. I felt betrayed and do not recommend him as a defending lawyer, but only for simpler legal advice.
