The children's section is absolutely excellent, possibly better stocked than the adults sections. The reference section, although again small, always has a brilliant selection recent & relevant books. They have a good number of computers that always run well & are easy to book into. The library also offers a great range of activities & clubs, especially for children where they offer regular storytimes, Bounce & Rhyme, & craft times. However, as much as I would love to give the library five, or even four, stars, I can't because it's never open! First of all they don't open until 9.30am or 10am, then they shut for an hour at lunch (I'm sure there are enough staff for them to stagger their lunch breaks!) & then they close at five. This means that anybody who works regular hours has no chance of visiting during the week. In addition, many a time I have attempted to visit during the week within their (supposed) opening hours, only to find that they are closed without explanation! It's a terrible shame that such a valued local resource is so throroughly difficult to make use of!

If you into reading this is the place to be fantastic range of books from children to adult. The staff are really pleasant and always willing to chat. I would recommend going to the library as they also have connections with the job centre and places like that so if you are in need of a job this is also the place to go to. It is like the centre of the community.
