Since then I have been in here with several issues - some small, some not so small, but in each and every case the staff have been friendly and really helpful. Yes, their have been times when they haven't been able to fix my issue but they have always given me alternative solutions or other avenues to try. Plus their shop is shiny and white. This store has a crazy cool amount of options to choose from for the young and hip kid. I loved that there was a different style and colour for every pencil case, folder, writing book, journal, and money safe. It did make trying to decide on a design quite hard at first, but with help from the really friendly and chatty sales assistant, I was on my way with a bag of Smiggle gear for the kids in less than 15 minutes. Smiggle has everything the kid would need for school. For example bags, wallets, lunch boxes, drink bottles, funky slap bands to swap with friends, writing tools. It's completely endless, and mind boggling what they have come up with, it's like they have entered the child's mind and asked- what would you want? Always a fun time shopping here, I get to be a kid for a bit.

So a place like PB, although it's the proverbial candystore to some kids, doesn't excite me with its rows and rows of computers and computer bits. Others will disagree. I have friends that love this place. The thing about this place is that it's cheap. Really cheap, by computer standards. And big. The range is good, as far as I can tell (again, I just don't care enough to learn what most of what I'm looking at is). If you need something specific - a computer, say, or maybe a small but very specific piece of a computer - then this place can probably sort you out, and for a smaller price than most other electronic places. But I mean, you wouldn't come here for fun. Would you?

They also do training and tutoring so if your nan has recently bought a new computer and is already complaining that she doesn't know how to use it, drop her off here and she will be a computer whiz in no time (or as close to it as an 80 year old is ever going to be) If you want to pimp your phone out too they have heaps of accessories and things to do so, to get it looking really fly. I brought in a laptop for a straightforward repair and was told it would be checked the same day. After waiting the entire day with no update, I was finally told it needed to be sent to another branch and wouldn't be ready until late next week. When I asked for the device back so I could take it elsewhere, the staff member handed me the phone with the manager on the other end. The manager immediately started raising his voice at me, calling me impatient and acting as though I was being unreasonable for wanting a clear timeframe. I also had to push them just to reassemble the laptop so I could take it away. Technician purposefully destroyed my laptop by putting incorrect screws on the front of the laptop, unbelievable! How can an ''experienced" technician not know hes reached the end of the standof for the screw, this is unbelievable. As per photos. This was 100% intentional because i wouldn't wait a week for them to do a repair that a shop 1km away did in 1 hour, this is a 150 dollar replacement part and almost 100 worth of labor if im lucky, terrible. I took the device to Advanced Computers in Albany, who diagnosed the issue properly and fixed it without any drama. The difference in professionalism was huge. I would not recommend this place based on my experience.
