I had a great experience recently, when I popped into the Noel Leeming store, trying to find a XBOX 360 game, having sold out in other outlets and they had one!!! All the staff were helpful, ascertained where the product was, communicated really well and then offered to get the item for me, while I wait! Fantastic customer service! They are a 'one stop shop' really selling smart phones, tablets, TVs, DVDs, fridges, kitchen appliances, everything I think. Great sales too!

In this case I'm not sure if its a good thing that I've never experienced buyer's remorse after making a purchase here, as it explains why I keep coming back. There's something at JB Hi-Fi for everyone from games to computer programs to movies, and all at great retail prices too. Now and then they also have one-off sales where everything in-store is cost price + GST- so always good to keep your ears pinned for that one. It's not the biggest JB Hi-Fi branch but I know my way around. The staff here are quite reliable and the last time I went looking for an HDMI cable, the guy there told me about every single one they had, including the advantages and disadvantages. You don't get a lot of great service in retail these days so I take what I can get, and I was very impressed. Even the security at the store here always make a note to say hello and goodbye to all the customers- a little recognition goes a long way.

(bar one time I was looking for Shutter Island - found it on Queen St) The only department in this store that I dislike is the electronics section. One guy tried to sell me an SD TV as an HD one. Fortunately, I was not the stupid woman he supposed, but a film maker who knows the difference. I smiled at him politely, and walked off. I hope he was just ignorant and not really a con man.

The customer service is great- I've found the guys here to be really helpful when I've come in. And it's a relatively quiet branch so there's no waiting around in a line and they deal with you straight away. The last time I was here was to set up a new phone contract. It took me all of ten minutes to fill in my paperwork and set up my new number. The guy who served me (I wish I could remember your name!) was awesome and helped me pick out the contract that would be best for me. I had to wait a couple of hours for the contract to actually process so that I could use my phone, but they called me up as soon as it was ready to use. I was really happy with the service I got and all of the staff were friendly. Having been to other Vodafone branches over the years, the customer service has been especially average, so the Manurewa branch is a welcome change. If you live in the Manurewa/Manukau area, make a trip to this Vodafone branch. It's quiet, you'll get the level of service you want and all the information if given to you.

They have buried in the small print that this phone is basically useless and the operator I spoke to was tantamount to an AI bot, repeating the same thing over and over - I am a rip off merchant and sold you the phone with a major fault - but thats ok because we buried that info in the fine print. You should have heard his squeaky little voice as the language wasn't to his liking as he hung up the phone. Poor baby. Do not shop with this company - it's probably safer to buy a phone off those dodgy shops in the malls. One star because it's mandatory to give at least one.

Mobile City sent out the return label and I shipped it off the Friday of that week. I called Mobile City the following week Tues, Weds, Thurs to see if they have received the parcel and they said no. I called them Friday to ask for the tracking number and searched it up myself and to my surprised it had arrived with them Tues 11th Jan! I called them back and hit them up about this matter and the claimed that they had no idea that the phones had been delivered as it was "Contact-Less" Not happy!! They were quick to take my money but will LIE and do anything to DELAY the REFUND!!!! Never again will I purchase from these guys!!! Duct Tape is open on Sunday's, so off I went. A modern, sleek shop in Ponsonby Central, I found the service to be professional. Instructed I wouldn't lose any data, I was told to come back two hours later. When I did return, my phone was ready and I was told the repair came with a three month warranty. I was impressed with Duct Tape - I found the convenience and speed of the repair outweighed any potential savings from other outlets. I would revisit Duct Tape again, if the need arose. They also stocked a wide range of high quality iPad, and iPhone cases and accessories (eg Marc Jacobs, leather / felt cases from Sweden etc).
