During the few months it took to repair, with several follow up calls I had been led to believe it could be repaired, only to have Kelly cover his tracks and not provided any service receipt/description on request. Each phone call he said it would be ready and would call back, only false promises who Kelly blamed on his serviceman for not turning up. Poor experience and very disappointing 250.00 down and not a thing to show for a deceased family possession I would have loved to hear again.

I had a great experience recently, when I popped into the Noel Leeming store, trying to find a XBOX 360 game, having sold out in other outlets and they had one!!! All the staff were helpful, ascertained where the product was, communicated really well and then offered to get the item for me, while I wait! Fantastic customer service! They are a 'one stop shop' really selling smart phones, tablets, TVs, DVDs, fridges, kitchen appliances, everything I think. Great sales too!

The other half you could find new in another appliance store at the same price, if you shopped around. This may not always be true but none of the staff spoke to or acknowledged me to disprove this fact. Perhaps their garish yellow uniforms had caused some sort of irreparable blindness or corneal damage. Two staff members obliviously strolled past while another popped bubble wrap 5 meters from where I puzzled over my purchase. Because I was using the company card, I offered the bubble-popper a chance to up-sell me, taking the cheapest product and the one I was considering to the counter and asking what the difference was. And here again I would like to mention the uniforms. Perhaps it was supposed I had also suffered some sort of temporal blindness from the bright yellow shirts because the staff member obtusely replied "They're different brands". It carried on from there in this manner for some time before I gave up but lets just say that I'm glad I wasn't looking for any helpful service or an appliance bigger than a desk phone.

They offer a complete range and have pretty much everything on display and encourage you to try things out before making a purchase. That doesn't sound like much to ask when some kit is VERY expensive but other stores keep the good stuff behind glass which makes it tricky to commit to a purchase. Anyway, now that I am a Telecom customer I have been into Takapuna Mall store several times. The staff are attentive and are knowledgable about their products, plans and other services. It must be said though, something needs to be done about those shirts, they look terrible and always seem to look a bit untidy.

There's no more bubbles, fingerprints and dust on my phone screen because they're absolute pros at it. It's even cheaper than other places which I love. They also have a great range of electronic products. There's cameras, phones, tablets and whole lot more. And they're all at great prices. A lot of people buy their iPhones here as they're often a bit cheaper than other stores. You can't go on a plan though but if you're going to buy the phone outright this is the place to go. The cameras there are great too. Again the same product for a whole lot cheaper. The staff are super friendly which makes such a difference too.

This one was attached to a shopping mall, so ran like a department store, like a sears in the states . It was a smaller scale compared to the ones that used to be freestanding back home . It was pretty nice with a wonderful selection of household goods and clothing . It reminded me a lot of the ones we had back home in the early 2000s. The prices have definitely gone up though ! They had a similar selection of what they used to have at their old locations, but at a more modern price haha!

As an American, Kmarts are almost all shuttered in the US. I've heard that Kmart in New Zealand and Australia are considered nice, in the way that Americans see Target as "nice." I'd say this target is maybe 1/2 or 1/3 of the size of a US Kmart. The main section seems to be for clothing, and then home decor items. I noticed there were quite a bit of items for social media, like ring lights and phone stands, and colourful strip lights. I noticed most of the items were house branded / generic items. I'm not familiar with the quality of these items but they were on pretty much everything. There isn't much of a snack section or toys or practical items for the home that I saw. Visited February 2023
