If it's one thing I hate, it's an ignorant foreigner who does not respect the customs of the country they are visiting. In order to be respectful and adhere to Spanish traditions, I make sure that I drink a caña every afternoon. [1]
Although I would much rather prefer a glass of Albariño at lunch, I have learned through experience that the wine selections at Tekes are lack-luster. Therefore, stick to the reasonably priced beer or one of the gigantic bocadillos. Seriously, these bocadillos could feed a family of 4. Even when I don't feel like carb-loading, the olives and chips that come with my beer prevent me from getting loopy and fuel my DELE examination study sessions.
Although the bar/restaurant is fairly spacious, the place is alive at all hours.
