Had him swap a motor from a 305 to a 350. The 5 star reviews must have been when he first started and couldn't pick and choose his customers.Drove the car with the 305 to the shop. Have never been able to drive the car home since the swap. Found out they rigged the car just enough to run a lil beyond idle. Car won't go beyond 12 miles without overheating. Motor was purchased from his shop partner Chuckie Purcell and it came out of the shop truck. Constantly lied to me. Because they did not have the know how to address the problem, then resorted to calling my car a piece of excrement. Damaged the paint on the front of it with 3m tape. Even called the sheriff's on me and my family and destroyed the key to the car so I could not take it. Granted he talks a good game and does great work when it's something he is passionate about. So just roll the dice and make sure he is passionate about what you want. If he is passionate about your build the world is your oyster. If not you will possibly meet his ak47 in the bottom of his tool drawer. Just thoroughly read the contract before you sign it. You are relinquishing so many rights when you do. Be careful and be diligent in making sure you get what YOU (the customer) wants. This man and his minions are charging $130 an hour and depending on the month and time of day they are worth every penny. But then again i would'nt know cause im not nor will i pay for crappy work.
