I was fully prepared to have Cleaning/Chipped Tooth Fixed/Whitening, but they want to charge 100% for deep cleaning when less than half of my teeth needed it. I was misinformed when making the appt that all could be done in 1 visit. They refused to listen to me as to why I do not wear my mouth guard - who cares that it gives me horrible headaches, I do that's who. And they wouldn't even fix my chipped tooth which the dentist was adamant that it should be filled due to exposure. Thanks for nothing! I do have to say that the x-ray tech was very helpful and pleasant - the only bright spot to the visit (credit where credit is due).

He recognized my anxiety and helped me cope with it through his silly humor. He also went over tons of details and welcomed and questions I had. Furthermore, everyone in the office was very nice, and the office was impeccably clean. Dr Kimelman has won many awards for his good work, and I say it's very well-deserved! During the initial visit he did everything himself-including X-rays and cleaning. He was incredibly kind, checking in every 30 seconds or so-or if he saw a flinch to say "You ok?" Throughout the entire process. Meanwhile, his assistants are in the room, understanding how uncomfortable I was saying things like "Good job." "Almost done" I'll be seeing him several more times and I know that each time I go, I'll be in good hands in a very non judgemental and compassionate environment. Also, it's a small intimate office as opposed to some of the "processing" dental facilities I've been to. Both times, I was taken in EARLY for a visit. Cannot recommend enough.
