Wide selection of stores and restaurants within a mile of our property here. Property is always clean and well-maintained. I was pleasantly surprised to see that somebody had come by and wipe down all of the handrails leading up to the apartments in my building. Little things like that go along way and it shows their attention to detail. The office staff is great to work for and provides timely feedback to any inquiries. The community itself is great. People are nice and respectful of the quiet times. Cover it's private the families at the pool the last couple of weeks have enjoyed themselves without excessive noise. I say this only because it's something I'm not used to. The apartments are relatively new... Only four years old. Everything is state of the art and it's a great layout. Patios are really nice and a great place to kick back and relax after a workday. Apartments are set up for Xfinity/Comcast or CenturyLink high-speed Internet. In the past when I've had to call to have service set up the appointment has been two hours plus. Our installation took all of 15 minutes. Signal strength is good and I'm happy with the service. Overall we are very happy with his community it would highly recommend it to anybody. Keep up the great work!

The HOA board here is a joke. The had a horrible property management company and instead of taking…read moreresponsibility for the lack of proper communication and management, they give out arbitrary fines and punish residents for things that are no fault of their own. It seems like a board full of people who crave power and control but have none in their personal lives, so they joined the board to feel important. There are constant car prowls, porch package thefts and there was even a renter manufacturing drugs in one unit that no one had "control" over. Oh and residents weren't actually notified when the drug lab was discovered, instead we found out from another resident the community Facebook page. I'd highly recommend NOT moving into this community and joining this HOA. They certainly are terrible at their jobs and do not represent or care about members of the community

NOTE: Updated 9/18/2010…read more Viewcrest is a great place to live. The units are bright and open, with tall ceilings and new appliances. The location is great--right in the cradle of I-5, 405, 99, West Valley Hwy, 167... yet it is not in a "sketchy" area, despite its SeaTac address. The neighborhood is clean and quiet (with exception of garbage day). It is a fairly young community--aside from a few children here and there, residents seem to be mid-20s to late-40s. It's also pet-friendly, which is a definite plus for us! I am changing my review from four stars to five, because the HOA has gotten a lot easier to deal with since we first moved in. The parking used to be a huge issue, because they did not make it clear where you could and couldn't park, but they have since painted the restricted fire-lane zones, and defined the guest parking more clearly. Homeowners/renters parking in guest spaces is not encouraged, but you won't get towed or anything, either. As far as having signs on the grass (regarding the review before me), the only sign I EVER saw (even at the very beginning) was on ONE roped-off 10'x10' plot, which had been recently seeded. Big woop, now the grass is fully grown and there's no issue (there never was! lol). Bottom line, we are very happy with this neighborhood.

The management team takes very good care of the property and the condo board is active and involved, always looking for ways to make improvements to the property. When we bought, we completely updated the inside of our condo and we love how it turned out. The HOA's are high but include internet, cable and seem to be inline with others in the area. These condos seem undervalued and as home prices continue to climb in University Place/Tacoma, these are a diamond in the rough. We couldn't be happier here !

Regency Park Condominiums, while being a bit dated, are still a very nice place to live in a really…read morenice neighborhood. Located barely a mile North of the famous Chambers Bay Golf Course (where the US Open was held in 2015), the Regency Park Condos consist of two buildings: the Tudor building on the North, the Regency building on the south. Both are 3 stories. They are laid out rather oddly - the Regency especially. Built on a slope, the three floors are offset. In other words, if you are on the 3rd floor on the West side and want to walk to the 3rd floor on the East side, you still have to walk up three floors! And important to note: there are no units in this entire complex that are ADA compliant! There's not one single ramp on any entrance. The units in the middle of the building are especially bad - long flights of stairs just to get to your front door. So if you're wheelchair or scooter bound there is zero accessibility to any unit! I bought my unit in 1997 for $62k The HOA dues were around $75 a month or so. Today however, my unit might sell for $50k and the HOA dues are now $525 a month!!! Pretty bad, from an owner's perspective. I still own my unit and rent it out - thankfully the rents are quite good for the area ($1200 a month or so) so at least I'm not losing money. There's a very nice laundry facility in the basement of the East side of the building - reasonably priced and quality machines. Some units still have their own laundry facilities in the hall closet, but they are not technically to code (venting into the attic or under the sink in the bathroom). I took mine out completely - just too much liability. But overall, there are far worse complexes in the area - I wouldn't hesitate to move back in to my condo unit if I needed to downsize. And if you're a prospective buyer, it's a steal right now (February 2017) - you can buy a unit for as low as $35k. Mine would go for more - not much but it's all remodeled - nice kitchen, recessed ceiling lights, two bedrooms, fireplace (granted, can't use it until the HOA repairs all the chimney's). They are sluggish to sell but if you're looking for a pretty cheap buy-in you couldn't do much better. Just beware of the $525 monthly HOA

I've lived at Cascade Park Condo's for over eight years. I've come to enjoy the neighborhood…read more Cascade Park has more green grass than any condo community I've ever seen. The association keeps it very attractive. The trees get larger every year - they are very beautiful in the Fall. There are squirrels, ducks and an occasional deer that wander through the Association. If you don't look for them - you probably won't see them. There are several local Parks in the area worth checking out. Down the street is Liberty Park. There is a river that runs under the library. A few miles down the road is Gene Coulon Park - which is one of the biggest secrets of Seattle. There is nearby shopping. This community is in a really nice location. Without a doubt - this is an older condo complex. But if you are willing to overlook a few things - you will discover the real value of the condo, the association and neighbors. The association is in the process of replacing all the roofs so - the dues (aka assessment) is higher than other associations. Each unit has an assigned parking spot. There are visitor spots - I've ever seen all the parking spots full. This is a quiet peaceful association. Every year it will grow on you. I will miss it.

In my experience, the office staff have been friendly and responsive. I've had two service calls that were addressed either same day or I was kept updated on progress. They have annual events and parties and try to foster a community. They're really on top of the landscaping and grounds management, everything is kept clean, trimmed, mowed, etc. So much green space to enjoy. No trash laying around, really nice little paths to walk around, accessible trash cans and dog poop bag dispensers everywhere. Pool is great in the summer even if a little overrun by children. The on site gym is small and not a replacement for a full gym, but has decent equipment for some basic workouts. Also kept clean and maintained well. The downsides of living here people have mentioned in the bad reviews seem to have nothing to do with Cliffside itself or its management, it has to do with the other residents here that are rude or disrespectful, but that comes with all apartment complexes. This place is fairly affordable, let's me have my pets, and is totally beautiful. I'm so thankful I found it. I have like 50 thousand pictures of Mt. Rainier from my balcony. Don't think I'll ever have a view quite as glorious. Thank you Bailey, Ashley, Stacy, Paul, Nick, and all the maintenance folks. I appreciate you and this community!
