I spoke with the chef beforehand and clearly explained that I could not have wheat, soy, or gluten and that, because of my allergy, cross-contamination was not safe for me. While the rice was prepared with gluten-free ingredients before any Soy sauce was used, my protein was cooked in between the rice and vegetables that contained soy sauce. The same spatula was then used across all of the food without being cleaned in between. Because of the cross-contamination, I unfortunately had to throw away my protein and was unable to eat my meal. I'm sharing this as a warning for anyone with food allergies or celiac disease. While I enjoyed the hibachi experience, I would recommend opting out of the hibachi if you have a serious allergy or need to avoid cross-contamination.

Let's Hibachi isn't just about the food - although it is insanely delicious - it's also about the fun in between each course and bite. When you call and book your reservation, you are able to let them know how many people will be there and each person gets to choose two proteins which is great. Kevin pulled out all the stops and fun party tricks to keep our very rowdy bunch entertained all night. He was so patient with us from the very beginning, and truly seemed like he was having just as much fun as we were. Even with all the chaos, loud music, and girls getting up from the table every other second, Kevin made sure to always keep us safe and on track for the meal. We could not have asked for a better chef and I know this won't be the last time any of us hire Let's Hibachi for a future party/event!

Luckily, I had her email and knew she'd respond right away. What can I say? From the very beginning, I knew this was going to be quite the experience. Hannah and I were in touch everyday curating the perfect menu for my girls trip. She was extremely accommodating as one of the girls did not like meat so she quickly made her own choices for my friend. She's extremely communicative which was my favorite part about her services. She made this experience 10/10 for us. And the FOOD?! Phenomenal! We devoured everything. Hannah took care of all the courses and one I didn't include was the kale Cesar salad that tasted so yummy and added the lightest clean touch to our steak dinner. I have no complaints with Hannah and if you're looking for a chef in the Blue Ridge she is your girl. She will take of you from beginning to end with upmost southern hospitality. We do enjoyed having her and will book her again no questions asked! Love you Hannah you were wonderful!!

She served a 4 course meal that included a Shrimp and Grits appetizer, Salad, Surf & Turf (Awesome Salmon and Ribeye coupled with Shrimp), Dirty Rice w beef, 4 Cheese Seafood Mac N Cheese, and Seasoned Broccolini and Shrimp followed by Key Lime Pie served with Mango Sorbet. Everything homemade!! O.M.G!!! The food was Ah-mazing - seasoned, flavorful, and savory!!! The ribeyes were so juicy and tender that we used butter knives to cut the steaks. All of this was prepared in my kitchen and we were served like Royalty. In addition Chef Dean has Pastry Chef that made a spectacular Birthday Cake - again homemade - melts in your mouth!! Her professionalism and skills were above my expectations. My Husband thoroughly enjoyed the evening provided by Diva's Touch as well as the rest of our family. We booked her services again before she left for the evening. I posted a pic of one of the plates but will post more once we get them from the photographer.

Cooking with A Star, LLC, was simply amazing. Everything from the food to the staff. Chef Kendra, was our contact and she was super responsive and went above and beyond to make our day perfect. Chef Kendra is an awesome Caterer! Not only is she an amazing talented professional, but Chef Kendra has a great personality. She treated my finance and I like family. We met her in July 2019 and we booked her to cater our Wedding Reception but, due to Covid-19, we had to reschedule for this year, June 19, 2021. Chef Kendra was incredibly flexible with the food tastings, and let us try food on multiple occasions to make sure we had the menu we wanted. The food for a wedding is one of the most expensive ticket items, so you want to be sure you know what specific things your money is going to. She worked with us to keep the cost within our budget, but never once sacrificed quality of food or service. Chef Kendra is very straightforward and transparent with her pricing and did not have any hidden fees or extra charges to sneak in there at the end. No ridiculous corking fees, cake-cutting fees, etc. Furthermore, our menu consisted of barbeque meat balls (cocktail hour hors d'oeuvres) Salad, Rolls, Roasted Herb Chicken, Honey Glazed Salmon, California blend vegetables, baked Macaroni and cheese, and Freshly Squeezed Homemade Lemonade. The food was exceptional, and all of the serving staff was polite and efficient. It was refreshing to have someone reliable and experienced to handle such an important aspect as food. Lastly, I definitely appreciate her work ethic and I definitely recommend others to hire Cooking with A Star, LLC for your upcoming event. You will not be disappointed at all and your guest will enjoy all of the food at your event.
