In fact the prior Medispa I tried for laser hair removal did not take into account my complexion and as a result I had very bad hyperpigmentation. The first time I had a skin care consultation with Marie, we discussed my goals which at that time were about evening out my skin tone. After the first treament I saw significant improvement and since then she has introduced me to other services that have helped including: Jet Clear Microdermabrasion, Rezonorate & Dermaplaning. What is really special about Marie is that she will never advise you to do something that is truly not needed. That is when you know you can trust an esthetician. I've gone to two other places for these treatments and this place has been able to reduce hair growth the quickest of them all. Their facility is clean and their staff is professional. You need to make sure you shave really well before laser hair removal because the laser needs to find the hair follicle under the skin to zap it. I always bring a razor with me and the person doing my treatment will tell me if I missed a spot so I can get it. I started going here after getting a Groupon. When I found out that I could get the same low prices without having to get the Groupon. This place is highly effective and a bargain. I've been out as a queer/lesbian woman with all of the staff members had. Everyone has been really positive. During my last treatment, I had a great conversation about trans issues with one of the staff members. She told me that trans women come in to get treatments and asked me a couple of questions about trans issues after I encouraged her to do so. I feel very comfortable coming here as a queer woman, but am cis-gendered. So I do not have first-hand feedback on what it is like to get a treatment while trans.

I was looking for a place to even out my asymmetrical lips (my left side is much fuller than my right). I had lip injections once before and it wasn't a great experience as I bruised terribly and the product fell low and I kept biting them. I expressed my concerns to Dr. Desai and he was wonderful. He spent a significant amount of time looking at my face and explained to me that bruising and falling product does happen, but he used a cannula techno which reduces bruises and swelling. He numbed and started the injections. He was gentle and I loved my lips immediately. (He chose Juvederm for my lips). Although the cannula technique was a little more intense than just injecting the lips, I completely agree it's much better for swelling and bruising. I'm writing this the next day and I hardly have any bruising which is insane! All in all I'm really happy. I will be back and I will get more of their great skincare services. They have competitive prices! Highly recommend!
