Peanut butter sundae, Kit Kat quarry blaster, chocolate soft serve with sprinkles
Tylor B.

Friendly service and great representation. The ice cream was pretty good! I got the peanut butter sundae and it was good but the flavors seemed a little bland. My friends go the quarry blaster was alright (needed more flavor) and the soft served was amazing (with free sprinkles!!!)

Do you have a moment to talk about our Drummond Island Savior, the Teepee? The Teepee is a summer staple and tradition of Drummond. Centrally located on the Island, their soft serve ice cream is unparalleled and perfect for relaxing on a summer day. A few years ago they added a food menu, so it's easy to stop by the Teepee while on the way into/from town to grab lunch and a desert, all for a fair price. (Actually, the food is fair-priced. The ice cream is surprisingly cheap.) The workers are always friendly and hospitable, representing the best of Drummond, and the service is always prompt. The few times an order's been delivered incorrectly (always due to stopping by at a rush period) they've been happy and quick to correct our order. Drummond Island may not be quite the culinary smorgasbord; but the Teepee is a simple treasure on the Gem of the Huron.

Got the ice cream, and it was pretty good. The donuts and coffee is what I would recommend.

Nice stop for ice cream. Cherry dipped cone was very good. Check out the specials for unique flavors like the rhubarb fury.

This shop is a combo of Grand Hotel-themed souvenirs and an ice cream area on the side. But they use the same Guernsey Farms Dairy product as the hotel. My wife had the Birthday Cake - appropriate as it was her birthday! My choice was easy: it had to be the Mackinac Island Fudge. Ice Cream in the downtown parlor is to-go only, so we found a spot overlooking the ferry boats coming and going for some scenery while eating. This was good ice cream - wow. My Mackinac Island fudge was super rich and a mixture of vanilla, fudge swirls and not sure what else but it was amazing. My wife's Birthday Cake was vanilla with yellow cake batter, swirled fudge and chocolate cake pieces - again, amazing. We were in full food coma after, but what a way to go.

I chose the Peanut Butter Mackinac Fudge, and it was pure creamy goodness--rich, decadent, and packed with generous ribbons of peanut butter and chunks of Mackinac fudge. Every bite was absolutely delicious and left with wanting more! One of my favorite things is how conveniently Sadie's is attached to the Grand Hotel. As a hotel guest, it's was a treat to grab my ice cream and (after 6:30 p.m while dressed according to the evening dress code), enjoy it while relaxing in the beautiful Parlor. It adds an extra touch of charm to an already memorable Grand Hotel experience. Whether you're craving a classic favorite or a signature flavor, Sadie's is absolutely worth a stop. Delicious ice cream, genuine hospitality, and an elegant setting made it much more than just a place for dessert.

It's a little shack right by the marina in downtown Cedarville, and you can eat your delicious cone or sundae out at the tables by the water - if it's sunset, even better! The shoppe always is well-stocked with three cases of rotating flavors of ice cream (Mackinac Island Fudge is always there, though!) plus plenty of specialty sundaes, shakes and malts to choose from. One of my family members orders a Heavenly Hill sundae (with hot fudge and Reese's Pieces on top) every time - yum! One scoop is $2 and two is only $2.50. Sundaes are a little more ($3.75-$4.75) but remember you're paying for the experience and the enjoyment of summer! They also serve hot dogs and other food-shack-type but I've never tried them. You can order from inside (standing room for only about 4 people!) or outside at the window but I think the inside is faster and you can see all the ice cream flavors. In the evenings there's usually a bit of a line but the girls who usually are working there are fast and friendly. Small little parking lot fits about 5-6 cars. There's a little slide where kids can play and a gazebo with extra seating, and it's just an all-around perfect experience to go out for ice cream in the summers in Cedarville!

Friendly staff. Amazing ice cream. You eat outside by the docks and there is a park next to it.read more
