Very disappointing experience -- buyers beware…read more I purchased a truck from this dealership less than a month ago and put fewer than 1,000 miles on it before the engine failed. The engine was ultimately found to have a bolt inside cylinder #1. Based on the evidence and the vehicle's service history, we believe the bolt was left in the engine during previous maintenance performed by the dealership service department. That foreign object ultimately caused catastrophic engine damage, leaving me facing the cost and hassle of replacing the engine shortly after purchasing the truck. What has been even more disappointing is how this dealership handled the situation. I reached out to them expecting them to at least take the situation seriously and work with me toward a reasonable solution. Instead, they were essentially unwilling to help. Not offering to take a look at the truck or report the only thing they offered was a $50 gift card, which is completely inadequate considering the circumstances and the $6,000 cost of the engine replacement. I understand that used vehicles can have problems, but having an engine fail less than a month after purchase and after fewer than 1,000 miles is extremely frustrating. What makes it worse is feeling like the dealership has no interest in standing behind the vehicle or helping resolve the situation. They only seem to care about profit and margins rather than current and future customers. Future buyers should be aware of this experience before purchasing a vehicle here.
