Today, Tucker is back to his goofy, fun-loving self. A few weeks ago, Tyson(our other doodle) had an injury at home that required stitches. Shortly after, I had to board both dogs at MCA while I was out of town. The team took incredible care of him, and when Tyson managed to rip out his stitches, Dalton immediately called me, took him back to the vet, and made sure he was taken care of. I truly can't say enough about MCA. They genuinely care about every dog that walks through their doors, and their entire team always puts your dog's well-being first. We are so grateful for them. Peace of Mind is bonded and insured. Ms. Creel is the proprietor and a Registered Veterinary Technician. She offers a couple of levels of service, visiting the house as needed or even sleeping over to care for pets. Ms. Creel met us at the house. She provide references and proof of insurance. We worked through a checklist of the dog's needs and habits. She then spent time with the dog. We agreed on a twice a day schedule to visit the house which included a substantial walk every evening. She also agreed to pick up the newspaper, mail and water a few plants. While we were away, Ms. Creel took great care of our shedding monster. She texted us regularly with updates, and left a running series of notes on how the day went. We have used Ms. Creel 3X in the past year and hope to continue using her. It is about twice the cost of boarding the dog which is well worth the peace of mind (no pun intended). I strongly recommend Peace of Mind and Ms. Creel. I decided three weeks ago to go with this company for PSA online training for my one year-old dog…read moreto help me with my symptoms of PTSD and others, I had already been working with my dog for two months and I got him three months ago from the SPCA and when I first got him, he wouldn't even really come to me and he did not eat for the first two days and stayed in the little doggy bed, I worked with him daily, slowly and patiently, and he learned 22 commands and was able to pass the PSA training course which I had to take to restaurants, DEPT store, and other videos that I had to submit and send in which I did and he passed, people that are complaining on this site about their training with trainers, I will tell you first of all that it's your dog not the stranger trainer, if you want your dog to work for you and with you, you have to work with your animal and don't give excuses that you don't have time and you can't do it ,because then why did you get a dog in the first place? Your dog needs to get used to you and not a trainer and just like every dog is different ,so is every trainer and that's why it's best for you to learn how to train your animal and it's not hard. It is based on trust between you and the animal, patience, and the ability to repeat and repeat the commands and practice until it actually becomes second nature to the dogs, don't tell me that when we all had children it came with a manual because it didn't, and we all learned how to be parents to our children if you have any, and grandparents, teachers and babysitters cannot raise your children or teach them the way that parents can, so the same thing with a dog and a trainer. I'm not a believer of the trainers and it's all about the money, find time to do it yourself. It is just that most people just want it done overnight and it takes time, you will be rewarded, but most of all so will the dog, and in the end, IT'S ALL ABOUT TEAMWORK BETWEEN YOU AND YOUR DOG BECAUSE YOU ARE SUPPOSED TO WORK AS A TEAM......

The first day the girl insults my dog who was a six month old Pomeranian as ugly. Pomeranians go through a ugly period at the age of six months. I overlooked her ignorance. The main issue is that I suspect they used a shock collar on her as I have reasons to believe this. The other issue is she learned nothing, nothing at all except to come back traumatized. My hope was that they would get something out of the classes but honestly thought it would be minimal. I was also afraid my youngest may even be kicked out of school. To say the least, I am amazed and thrilled with the results and my only regret is that I did not sign them up sooner. Kelly was our trainer. She is absolutely wonderful!
