The machine was on warranty and the previous company Technician could not determine what was causing the machine to malfunction. This went on for four months. Imagine our delight when Andre determined the washing machine tub did not function and a replacement was needed. He brought the new washing machine tub the next day. After installation the washing machine worked. The following day, Andre came back and re-programmed the dashboard on the machine, which was previously installed by another company.. The water had been filling on Soak, which it did not do before the previous company Technician installation. After Andre left, the washing machine filled on Fill as it was supposed to. Andre is extremely knowledgeable about this appliance. He has been in Canada for four months from a war-torn country. He did such a great job. Very accommodating ! Was able to book a Saturday appointment, as my wife and I both work. The tech (Boris) showed up at the agreed time. Our dishwasher had malfunctioned and after checking all possible cycle issues, he determined that the drain hose was clogged at the sink drain ! He disconnected it and removed the debris that was keeping it from draining, reconnected it and started a wash cycle, and it worked perfectly ! My only regret, is that there was no option on their card reader to allow for a tip, as I paid by credit card, and didn't have any cash on me that day. Boris was a great guy, and I would have liked to tip him for his work !! All in all....great service company....I recommend them highly !! read more

I contacted Techvill Appliance Repair yesterday afternoon to fix a broken clothes dyer based on the reviews posted on Yelp. They said that they could make me the last appointment of the day and would be by between 4 and 6. The technician Garrick arrived at 4:30 and quickly assessed the problem. Turns out it was a fairly simple fix and was done within 30 minutes. The service could not have been better. From booking the appointment to the professionalism and courtesy of Garrick the technician it was a very satisfying experience. This is a very, very good and honest company to deal with. They came out to Canmore to replace the glass top on my Viking range. There was some confusion with the final cost because of the US price difference on the part that was ordered. They insisted on honouring their initial quote even though they had to take a big hit on the US/CAD exchange and duty. Everyone was so lovely to deal with. Required a technician to replace a fan in a Whirlpool island style range hood in Calgary. He had to basically take the whole assembly apart to get the bolts at the top that held the fan in. It was a major and he had a considerable number of parts stacked up while doing it. After the old one was out and new one installed I thought there may be parts left over if he couldn't remember where they all went, no parts left over and the job went well. read more
