Christine Ha is an incredible Relationship Manager at this Sunnyvale location. Christine and the team are very customer focused and always looking out the best opportunities for their credit union customers. We've been banking with them for a long time, starting back in our health savings account days to the present, where we do personal and business banking with them. Christine, in particular, has worked with us the last couple of years and has assisted us greatly in managing our assets. We are grateful for everything she does and we are indebted to Tech Cu for their policy of putting the customer first and employing very knowledgeable staff like Christine! read more

Thoroughly satisfied with this Tech CU branch. Whenever I've come, usually during the day, it hasn't been too busy and the longest wait is like less than 10 mins. Someone always greets me and politely say they will get to me soon. The space has cushioned benches along the wall or chairs to wait. The service is courteous and efficient. It feels like personal service, which is refreshing. Keep up the good work! read more

I am writing this review to give kudos to Jennifer Bassett at the Sunnyvale branch, I have been a member of the Credit Union from the late '70s when it was called Frairchild Federal CU. My review is about Jennifer who went on and beyond what an average person would do. She followed through, with calls and emails to solve an issue I had. She deserves a pat on the back for the work she is doing at the very least, I hope she gets recognized for her examplary work she is doing at the Credit Union. Tewfik Mourad (proud member) read more

Christine Ha helped us open an account. We arrived a bit late at 4:30PM ish, and the entire process took over 30 minutes which she told us in the beginning so we had the right expectation. She patiently assisted us and went beyond business hours, we finished around 5:15 pm, even though they close at 5 pm. The other two staff members that day were also very friendly and helpful. Overall, a great first experience with Tech CU! read more

Diana Guevara is superb she worked extra mile refinancing my 2024 Stingray Corvette . I can rate her more than 5 stars

We like TechCU, but the Sunnyvale location is really is not convenient. Their ATM is all the way in the front of the building, basically when the bank is closed, you have to go around the building to use the ATM. It seems dangerous to walk back with cash to the back of the parking lot! Because of this, we have chosen to go to Cupertino location on DeAnza instead. I wish it would have a standalone building to itself with ATM Conveniently located near parking lot. There are so many empty buildings on Mathilda Ave. .... read more

Jennifer and Christine are so wonderful. They both truly care about their clients and address all of their needs with kindness, patience, and understanding. I take my elderly mother to do her banking at the Sunnyvale branch because she loves seeing Jennifer and Christine. They take their time to explain things to her and go above and beyond to help her. They really are the best at providing high quality clientele service. read more

Terrible, terrible experience with Tech CU. Opened account not too long ago and started transferring money into it through ACH. They put a limit on the transfer amount so I had to do multiple ACH's. Had some money in. Then trouble came. Couldn't do a wire and then they locked the account. I couldn't even close the account. Why? Because there were multiple ACH's. There were multiple ACH's because you made it so! More then once, I was asked where was the money coming from. I got a sense that I was assumed guilty until proven innocent. I have opened so many accounts at so many banks and I was never treated this way. Then I have a conversation like this: So has the fund cleared? Yes. Then I just want to close my account. No, can't let you do that. Why not? We have some suspicions. What was the basis for that? Well all these transfers coming in. You made me do that because of the transfer limit you put on new account. We understand but still can't let you access money until we have done some review. How long is the review. Call back in a week. Why does it take a week? Money is in the account. I saw it before you locked it and I just want to close the account. I don't want to be Tech CU customer any more. Okay. We call you in 3 business days to let you know. I can't even close my account and no one can tell me when exactly. It is all because I want to build up balance by transferring money from a few accounts (biz and personal). So that makes me suspicious of running a SCAM? So even though fund has cleared? If you are just considering opening an account here, then I suggest you go somewhere. You have choices. It is not worth it. No one called me to say that "Can we understand what your plan is with the account? It is triggering some flags. May be we can help you achieve what you want to do." That would be what I expect a bank/credit union who respects their customers would do. This is not such a credit union/bank. read more

Ahh welcome to the exciting world of Credit Unions, but not just any Credit Union, the one that employs one of the best reps Chrstine Ha. I needed a auto loan for a car I had no idea when it would actually come in. Christine helped me along the full process all the way up to me physically sitting in my new car for the first time. She is quick to reply and easy to reach by phone or email. If you are reading this then you probably need Christines help, give her a ring and I am sure she will take care of you 100%. read more

The people at Tech CU are so friendly, kind, helpful and professional. Jen is especially great! She always calls me by name when I come in and does the same for other customers. My husband and I have been with Tech CU for years and we love Jen and the other people there. There are other banks and credit unions closer to our home but we don't want to leave Jen. We don't think we'd find better service anywhere else! read more

Really cool to see the bank implement advanced technology like Virtual Banking that allows me to do everything for my business through Zoom appointments rather than in person during this pandemic! Always a friendly branch. However I recently got a new phone and was locked out of my banking app. I went in to sort it out. Christine was super helpful and patient with me while I slowly typed and got things wrong. We got there in the end. Thanks Again Christine at the Sunnyvale Branch! read more

Jennifer Bassett (Senior Relationship Banker) was prompt and very helpful throughout the Auto Loan process. Very pleased with the service and would definitely recommend TechCU. read more

The TechCU was first bank in the United States where I applied for my first credit card, and Jennifer Bassett was so helpful with it. Than, I had approval for my first car loan and I bough a car with TechCU. Also, after closing 30% of my car loan, Jennifer advised me on how to increase my credit card limit. I'm so pleased to work with Jennifer, she always extremely reliable, polite, responsible and so attentive to details. She always helps me with all of my questions that I have through the email. I work and I will continue to work with Jennifer. She's the best manager. I would highly recommend to work with her. read more

I'm a customer of TechCU for over 20 years but I've done most of the banking online. I just found out about this branch location in Sunnyvale through Yelp !!! I came in to get my bank card reinstated (I have a old card), transfer out funds from a CD account and withdraw some cash. I walked in and input my name and purpose of the bank visit in the kiosk machine (take 10 seconds for the input). Waited less than 3 minutes and I was helped with everything I came in for (this was around 1pm on a weekday) The lady helped me (Sneha) is very nice and always with a big smile. She got me a new debit card with new pin, scheduled the funds transfer out once the CD is matured in 2 months and got me specific cash dominations I needed. All done in less than 15 minutes. Thank you for the impeccable service !!! I'm a very happy customer. Hope this review brings more customers to this TechCU branch in Sunnyvale. read more

Been with Tech CU for over 30 years and was happy till this year. Their online system has eroded to the point of being totally useless. 80% of the time, the system is down or very very slow. Trying to do bill pay, money transfers or just checking my balance is impossible. What's the point in going paperless if you have to drive to the bank for any transaction. I plan to close all my accounts as soon as I can. read more
