I was in and out fast, I think it was less than half an hour from start to finish and it was $18 with a groupon. What more could you possibly ask? Well they have more! After shopping for a windshield replacement, had Technaglass come to the house and replace my windshield. Mobile service was convenient. As soon as they were done, my Audi Q7 showed a PreSense malfunction which had not been there previously. Took it to the Audi dealer. He immediately asked if Technaglass had done the install. He quoted $695 to recalibrate. He said that if I had gone to the local SafeLite, no recalibration would have been needed. I took it back to Technaglass, who asked for $400 more to recalibrate. It was never disclosed up front that a recalibration would be needed. The Technaglass rep did not get back to me until my 3rd trip over a month to the their store. Bad experience. They would not stand behind their work to make it right. Would not recommend. read more

Initially I had a bad experience at another location and would not have been coming back. I scheduled with Spencer (Customer Service Online) to have the warranty work done and the issue resolved at the Orem location. When I arrived early for the appointment the site manager Ben had not been sent any of the necessary materials to do the work. He apologized repeatedly and immediately went about to address the issues and make it right. On installation day - Ben and his team were amazing. Ben personally did the work and wanted to make sure that I was completely satisfied. Ben and his team went above and beyond to remedy the situation and make it right. Had I not had this experience I would no longer be a TechnaGlass customer. I have purchased over 4 windshields in the past from them. I called Techna Glass and they said to come in anytime, no appointment needed! As a new Mom, this was a plus for me. I made an appointment for Monday for a windshield replacement. I showed up on Monday and they ordered a windshield but forgot the second part they needed to do it. Rescheduled for Wednesday. Showed up on Wednesday for my appointment, only to be told they ordered the wrong windshield in the first place. I'm not sure where along the line things got confused but when I asked how they didn't notice that they had the wrong windshield to begin with on Monday I was told "We were really busy and working really fast". I had an appointment.... so.... they were too busy to give my car the scheduled amount of attention? I wouldn't trust these guys to replace my windshield if all they care about is going fast! read more

They do not stock Ford F-150 windshields (wow!), nor do they help with working on insurance coverage (I was told to contact the insurance company myself). I wonder if they actually install windshields, or maybe they just ship them to your house for you to install!! read more

If you don't mind waiting almost two hours after your "appointment" time for a windshield replacement, this place is fine. My truck didn't get started until a little over a half hour past my scheduled "appointment" time. (What's the point of making an appointment if they're not kept?) The installation of the windshield seems fine, but the electronic rear view mirror attachment was my put back incorrectly and now the cover hangs down freely instead of being secured. As others have mentioned (on Google), there are glass shards and bits of rubber all over the dash, floor, and in the cup holders. There are also black spots of sealant on the front passenger seat. The two gentlemen I came in to contact with were really nice and the price quote I was given two days prior was accurate. The waiting area is comfortable, there is free WiFi, and a selection of drinks seems reasonable (I didn't partake so I have no idea what's specifically offered). There's also a basket of candy. My only complaint about the office area is that the women's bathroom wasn't the cleanest. Though hovering in public is a "norm", the black marks across the toilet seat almost make you just want to hold it until you get home...if you can. That being said, the windshield seems fine. I'll run it through the car wash in a couple of days and, good or bad, I'll add to this review. Overall it really just seems like this place values quantity over quality. read more

I got my windshield replaced and when I went out to my car I found a brand new dent about the size of a watermelon Next to the driver side door of my car. The dent was so bad that my door would catch and only open about half way. The windshield is good though. But I would not recommend. read more

I have gone to Technaglass about 3 times for different vehicles. I always receive a great experience. During my last visit, I had to contact customer support to order my parts with my windshield, and the representative was nice and courteous, but he accidentally set my appointment for the wrong day and time, so when I showed up for my appointment, it turned out that I could have come in earlier like I had asked, because he set my appointment for 1 day before. Anyway, he had also ordered the wrong windshield so I had to leave and come back when they re-ordered the correct windshield, so I had to go back and forth, so I was quite upset about the whole issue. The representatives at the Orem 800 N location were great though, Adan and his co-worker took care of things and they were able to fit me into the schedule for later that day with the correct windshield. They also waved the $50 deductible on both of my vehicles because of all the hassle and misunderstanding. So all In All I am a happy customer because they got the job done and they took care of the issues very professionally! I am giving them 5 starts, because I understand that in a business there will be mistakes and set backs, and the way they handled those set backs was what mattered to me, which they did a great job. I just left Techna Glass and I can't say enough about the tech that served me this morning. (I wish I could remember his name.). I went in with a very large, unusual shaped chip close to my line of sight and I explained that I was short on time in leaving for Arizona. He was hesitant to try the repair but understood my situation and said he would try. He completed the repair and invited me to come and look. It was repaired beyond my expectations. He wouldn't take any money for the repair. (I guess because it was not perfect.) I assured him that I would get the windshield replaced as soon as I get back to Arizona. I have been to a Technaglass location for 4 days in a row dealing with the issues related to getting my glass replaced. These guys are dishonest and did a terrible job and kept offering me wiper blades to make it better. I took this all the way up the chain to no avail. They refused to discount their terrible work. And then due to my lack of knowledge of the fact that apparently I have a heated windshield (who knew), they didn't have one in stock. But they charged me the same amount for the more expensive windshield and were able to get it installed a couple days later. They were very friendly and out the door I paid $200. read more

I came into Techna Glass a month ago to get a windshield chip fixed. Having just moved from out of state, I had not been to Techna Glass before. It was Saturday afternoon, they helped me promptly and fixed the rock chip in less than 20 mins. They had plenty of other customers but were able to repair the chip quickly. They Ordered the wrong windshield and made me wait all day for this..... (i woke up early and had a handfull of options of shops but felt good about the company so i decieded to wait for this apointment at 5pm and now there is not option to get this fixed.) Now i am out of luck and have a 21 hour road trip to drive without a decent windshield. I have a crack that is 2 feet across my line of site from a rock chip on the freeway yesterday. I was very specific on my make and model and the salesman on the phone told me if i checked for a orange or brown line under the wiper blade i would know if it was the right one or not. after double checking it and telling him exactly what i saw he confirmed that i needed a basic windshield. really pissed that they messed this up for me when the money isnt the issue. now im going to take my business to anyone except TECHNA GLASS. idiots read more

Hands down the worst experience I have ever had! The weather stripping around the windshield was put on crooked and my windshield leaks. I have black glue all over the paint around my windshield, my front fenders and car doors. My rear view mirror was put on crooked. And to top it off they chipped a bunch of paint by my windshield trying to remove it! When I went back to talk to them about it the associate asked me to call the 800 # to set an appointment to have a lift and reset because he was too busy to make me an appointment. Thankfully I didn't go back. Worst customer service I have ever had! Now I have to go get an estimate to have my car painted and the glue removed on my new car! read more

I just bought a car and got the windshield replaced from Techna Glass. It cracked across the entire windshield, I had three technicians look at it saying that there was no point of impact from a rock. They called it a "stress fracture from installation". Which I was super happy about, thinking I would get this taken care of. They then proceeded to tell me there was nothing they could do about it. Because the dealership bought the windshield, they didn't have a warranty for this windshield. With me looking around the building that has advertised "Warranty, we take care of you" They weren't taking care of me, they were trying to get me to pay for an entire windshield again. Unfortunately I had a unpleasant & unsatisfactory experience with Techna Glass. I had a appointment scheduled for this Saturday morning to replace my cracked windshield. I was told it was done but there was a problem. During the installation when putting back the rearview mirror it broke off from the windshield along with pieces of glass from the windshield. So I was told I need to come back after 24 hours because of the glue needs to cure before the windshield can be removed. Fine I understand that but I wanted to get mobile service to do the re-replacement sooner instead of a week later because of my work schedule. I was told this is a warranty issue so it needs to be done in the shop. I asked him didn't this happen during the install? Possibly workmanship, product quality, etc? My car was still in their possession, didn't leave their facility, didn't sign anything yet & I didn't get my keys back till after I was told of the problem. I was trying to understand there policy. Where does the "installation" process end & the "warranty" begin. Then the Techna Glass employee who was helping says " You're just arguing, talking semantics & we're just going back & forth". I was not yelling or getting upset & told him "No, I'm just trying to get clarification". So now I have to wait a week & drive with no rearview mirror. I've been trying to get my windshield replaced. Had some delays with my insurance company & I need to get my emmison, safety check & car registration done by the end of April. So now this delay. Not happy with the situation I called the "888" phone number to see if I can get this resolved. I spoke to someone from the Sandy location explained to him my situation then he tells me "thats just the answer & you don't like it" What?! Who says that to a customer?! Both employees need to work on there customer service skills. I know its not easy but thats how you keep customers is how you speak & treat them. I'm not sure if those 2 employees walked out of there shop, checked down there street or around the corner & saw how many Auto glass shops there are. Not to mention insurance claims are guaranteed revenue. No out of pocket cost to the custoner usually BUT they do have a choice where to go. read more
