Sunbelt lighting is a no brainer. I had been told by several people before we built to go with them…read morefor light fixtures. From the second we walked in and to this day we feel like it was the correct decision. We had the honor of working with Mrs. Denise Wall. This lady went above and beyond to satisfy my wife's wishes (which to me, seemed like a bit much). Mrs. Denise never once gave me the impression that she was frustrated or annoyed. Every time we hit a road block with a fixture (wife not fully satisfied or second guessing one, or if the fixture was discontinued), Mrs. Denise went back to work and found 3 more to consider. She worked with us for over 6 weeks before we completed the purchase, and is still working with us after installation making sure it all went as planned. She was patient, considerate, professional, and truly a wonderful person. Each time we went to the showroom, there were several sales people available and they all seemed easy to speak to and willing to help. It just seems like that is work culture sunbelt has achieved. Pricing was either better or in-line with any other competitor. Delivery was extremely quick and easy. (Nothing we needed was back ordered at the time). All of the lights were boxed and labeled for the exact room they were for and the driver unloaded all neatly and carefully. There were no shorts on the order which included everything down the the bulbs. I would recommend anyone to do themself a favor and use Sunbelt Lighting for light fixtures. Of all the vendors we dealt with during construction, sunbelt was the best.

Update as of 5/10/24: I used their services again in Feb 2024 because half of the power went out in my house. A different Mr. Electric technician came and diagnosed the issue as one of the "legs" not working. The entire right side of my breaker wasn't working due to the error. The technician advised me to reach out to my electricity service provider, so I did and they were able to correct the outage issue. I was provided a handwritten note on the back of a scrap of paper from Mr Electric's technician detailing the reason for the outage (one "leg" not working) and an official invoice that just said "diagnostics". No other distinguishable information was listed on the official invoice. I needed a specific official document detailing what service was done and what was diagnosed so that I could seek reimbursement from my electrical provider. When I called Mr Electric to inquire about additional documentation, I was told that there was none. Also, the technician that came in Feb 2024, no longer worked for the company. A male got on the phone and informed me that the technician was separated due his poor performance and did not leave on good terms. I was then given the former employee's personal cell phone number to reach out to him directly to get the information that I needed. I asked why would I reach out to him, if he no longer worked for the company. I need an official document stating what was diagnosed. Common sense should tell you that he couldn't provide that because he doesn't work for the company anymore! I was being told just anything to get off the phone. This is unacceptable and disappointing. Mr. Electric is way too expensive to have such poor documentation. Also, releasing an employee's reason of separation and personal information is a huge HR "no no". Very unprofessional and could lead to lawsuits. I will not be using their services again.

First off, I'm apologizing for the length of this review. In March 2023 I signed a contract with…read moreRebath of Baton Rouge to redo a small 36" by 36" walk in shower in my 3/4 bathroom for my master bedroom. The job was started quickly and the work Rebath did was satisfactory but my contract called for a single glass door that was to be done by an outside glass contractor of their choosing. I had no choice in the selection of the glass contractor as stated in the contract I signed. The contractor came out and measured the shower for the glass door and returned at a later date and installed the glass door. All was good for a couple of months but then the glass door started scraping the side wall of the shower. Opening and closing the door was scraping off the finish and outer layer of the wall. It seems that the glass was slipping out of the upper door hinge and allowing the top of the glass door to scrape the wall. Upon notifying Rebath of the situation they contacted the glass company to come out and fix my problem. The first time out they said the hinge seemed loose and repositioned the glass and retightened the hinge screws. This repair again lasted a month or two but the problem reoccurred and again a call to Rebath resulted in a second trip out and this time the gasket was replaced. The problem reoccured and the hinge had a second gasket added to the first to allow a better grip on the glass door. Again the problem persisted and the glass once again scrapes the shower wall when opening or closing. I have called Rebath every time this occurred as they were the entity I have a contract with and they chose the particular glass contractor used. I wanted them to be aware of the problem I was having with the door. The last time the glass contractor came out, I suggested that the door was too heavy and possibly would need a center hinge on the door to support the weight of the door. The glass contractor said this was not an option and could not be done. I think this was because they would have to have a new glass door made (cut) with three sets of hole to accept a middle hinge. The same problem reoccurred in short order. In Approximately three months or so. Fast forward to my current problems now. Not only is the door scraping and damaging the finish on the wall but now the metal door handle on the door is loose and rattling against the glass and I'm afraid it will break the glass if used. I have called and left messages for Rebath of Baton Rouge three or four times as they have never answered the phone so a message was my only option. I have called at least three times and left messages and have never received a call back. It has been at least three weeks with no reply. My wife was getting a little perturbed about the situation as we can't use the shower and I asked her to call Rebath, but not the Baton Rouge affiliate as I thought they were just ignoring my calls, but Rebath Corporate as the Baton Rouge office was a joke And were just ignoring my calls. The Local Rebath never seem to answer their phone and I always have to leave a message. She then called the warranty number on the contact I signed and spoke to a nice lady who said she would contact the affiliate and see what was going on. It has been eight days and still no calls. No messages. No nothing. My wife has suggested reaching out to the glass company and see if they will correct the situation but I want Rebath of Baton Rouge to know about the problems we've had since the installation of the door. My patience is rapidly running out and I'm ready to file a suit in small claims court against Rebath of Baton Rouge. Calling corporate didn't seem to help. Repeatedly calling Rebath of Baton Rouge is a dead end. Not one message has resulted in a return phone call. This company has shown me it was a mistake to allow Rebath.com and especially Rebath of Baton Rouge to do this job. Their contractor has came out four or five to fix this problem and have not corrected it. Now I have a loose door handle plus the hinge problem and can't use the shower. Use this company at your own peril. Coming out and selling the job was done quickly. Responding to complaints has been a lot different. Do not use this company if you expect competent service after the sale or even the simple courtesy of a return phone call especially when they don't answer their phone. This company was not the lowest price but seemed to be the best option. I regret this choice. I don't think this review will lead to solving our problems but sincerly hope it might stop others from making my mistake. I repeat my experience to others thinking of hiring Rebath for a job. You will regret it if you do.
