We feel incredibly grateful to be part of such a warm, welcoming, and enriching school community…read more From the very beginning, our family has felt supported not just academically, but personally as well. The teachers and staff truly go above and beyond to create an environment where each child feels seen, valued, and encouraged to grow. We currently have three children at the school, and each of them has had such a positive and unique experience. The balance between strong academics and character development is something we deeply appreciate. It's clear that the school is focused on nurturing the whole child, building confidence, kindness, and a genuine love for learning. One of the highlights for our family has been the musical program. Our daughters have been involved in the school musical, and it has been such a meaningful experience for them. Not only have they grown in confidence and creativity, but they've also formed friendships across different grade levels, which has been so special to see. The sense of community that comes from these programs is truly something unique. We couldn't be happier with our experience and feel lucky every day to be part of this amazing school. It's a place where children are encouraged to thrive, friendships flourish, and families feel genuinely connected.

Even the inside of the middle school was a disappointment because there were no walls separating the different classrooms. Fast forward to present day, my daughter is in 8th grade and I am so sad she is now leaving MHA to go off to high school. Mrs Robertson is now the director at the middle school, there have been major staff changes, they even spent all summer redoing the entire inside of the school! There are walls, student lounge areas, amazing new staff, Mrs Robertson's office is right there so she can oversee everything, and there is even a counselor that comes once a week that will meet with any student or parent that might have any issues or concerns that they want to discuss, they have monthly meetings with the entire middle school about mental health as well. My daughter is thriving and loving school! We feel so confident and comfortable with her there. We love the new/returning staff, new programs, building updates, etc. I wish they had an MHA high school!! We have a younger daughter that will be at the middle school next year and we are so happy that she will be at MHA. She has some learning disabilities and the staff has been so accommodating to her. We really appreciate all the positive changes that MHA has made for this school year. Not only are the students more happy this year, you can tell the staff are excited to be there as well. Thank you MHA!!

They took the time to get to know us personally in order to find the best way to help our family. The supervisors and therapists at L.E.T.S Grow were there for us in the beginning when it was the hardest and they really helped me feel comfortable in a new world I was just learning about. I have since moved out of their service area and have had to find a different company and so far I haven't found one that I like nearly as much as L.E.T.S Grow. My son has recently tested out of special services at school and I believe it is in large part do to the early intervention program put in place by Dave, Joe and the L.E.T.S Grow team!

We have experienced different teachers year, and each one has been more than exceptional. They have been absolutely lovely, caring, thoughtful, smart, and have the best interest of our kids, their classmates, and even their community in mind. They have been taught not only the basic academics, but also how to be a good human in this crazy world, and how to lean on community and their peers to grow and become educated. I have felt like the teachers have always kept the individual student in mind, and advocated it on their behalf for all of their needs. The school, the teachers, the staff, down to the janitors....Absolutely lovely. The community that is involved at Mckinley Elementry school is the absolute best. There is a constant fundraising happening by the parents and community to support Mckinley's vast programs. The jog-a-thon, Sono Fest, the Gala, etc. Programs like music, theater dance for, art, and Spanish, our kids have been getting a very well rounded experiences in elementary school.

They do this in a number of ways. They offer advocacy services, resources, referrals, training for parents and professionals, support, community awareness programs, even technology centers with summer camps. Task originally started out with a focus on children ages 3-21, but they expanded to offer services from birth to 26 and essentially there really is no formal cut off age I'm told. They offer workshops in both English and Spanish. If you signup for their newsletter, they keep you informed of upcoming workshops. The schedule is also listed online on their website. Workshops are free for parents and $25 for professionals, which is a small amount of money considering the fantastic information you get in return. They are funded by grants, donations, and memberships. One of the best things they do at Task is offer parents support when they need it. Often this comes when a child may be first diagnosed with a disability or first enters the school system. It's a trying time for many parents and Task is a wonderful resource. Task advocates have firsthand experience with this and are exactly who I'd want on the other end of the phone if I was calling. I've been to three of their workshops over the years and they were all excellent. I'm looking for an excuse to attend one in Anaheim next :-)

The problem was that my insurance company contacted me regarding a point on my license and that my insurance was going to up. I contacted the court and they gave me cleantickets number. After a short conversation, a representative called the court, the dmv, and had everything back in order. After almost 40 minutes on the phone, and hearing the conversation between the court, the dmv, the representative made a joke about how some customers only leave negative feedback about a company when they receive a service they don't like, but when the service is top-notch, they fail to let people know with the same enthusiasm. We all expect to be treated like royalty, but this time it was my fault, and cleantickets didn't say that to the court, or to the dmv, they simply focused on helping me and went above and beyond to make that happen. I am very grateful to cleantickets and Sal, I was very relieved when I called the court and they said that cleantickets.com was goign to mail me a free duplicate certificate. cleantickets.com sent me an email saying that they upgraded my certificate delivery free of charge, all I did is pick it up the next day at a local fedex office. And I leave this comment of mine for whatever is worth to those who think that when we screw up, we are free to blame someone else.
